KEVIN KOLB (1 Viewer)

The NFL has already told teams to trade 2012 draft picks at their own peril. If this nuttiness continues past the draft, 2012 picks will be the only ones available. If the players are successful in their anti-trust case, the draft may not happen in 2012. Oops.

G-King usually knows what he's talking about when it comes to Kolb (for those who haven't followed his posts in the Eagles thread). So the question then would be is Arizona offering their 2011 1st or 2012 1st?
My guess is that it's gotta be a 2012 1st rounder on the table. The draft is a month away and the CBA is nowhere near done so current picks are probably off the table. If I'm Arizona I offer that 2012 1st and use the #5 this year on one of the top prospects to help my team now.
Can't trade 2012 picks until a CBA is in place.

Based on the threads I've read here (so I could be mistaken), you can't trade veteran players for 2011 picks until a CBA is in place either.

Can't trade anything while a lockout is in place. Can trade players and picks if the lockout is lifted either voluntarily or by court order.

Pretty sure they can make trades involving only 2011 picks, but nothing else.

Am I the only one who feels that Kolb is overrated?
Define overrated. I think before Kolb is out of the league he will be a pro-bowl player and have advanced to at least one superbowl. I'd like all the FBG's talking about how bad he is to make their predictions. That way, in 4-5 years, there will be plenty of posts to dig up and comment on.

All I'm going to add to this discussion is to NOT doubt anything GKing says about Kolb. He may not have a clue about rooting for a good football team :P but dude is well connected.
