I know we’re halfway through the summer, but maybe this will be beneficial for some of you out there (or for your kids/grandkids) as it’s a pretty great program.
There is an organization/program called KidsBowlFree where kids, typically 2-15 years old, can bowl up to 2 games for free all summer long.
You just go to the website I linked to, pick the participating alley closest to you, and register the kid. Shoes rentals are not free, but are typically like $3-4 to rent.
You can also get a Family Pass where up to 4 adults can be added for a fairly small fee. It was $40 for the entire summer to add me and Mrs. GD. So we could go every day all summer, pay nothing for up to games for us each, and either pay to rent shoes or just bring our own.
We’re not huge bowlers, but even if we just got 2-3 times in rainy days, it pretty much pays for itself.
Each alley may have slightly different rules as to the age ranges and times of day that you can use it.
We just went for the first time today while it’s sweltering out and had fun killing a couple of hours.
