I noticed in Jene's every down backer thread he is no longer listed as an every down backer, coming into the year I was not very high on him and now even less so, whats his value going forward, and does Daryl Smith get moved up a bit?

Did anyone watch the SD game? Wondering if Morrison moved into the nickel package after Durant was hurt.

I can pretty much guarantee that the starter, Russell Allen, won't be in nickel.

I'd put the likelihood of Morrison playing nickel above 90%.

Five tackles against the Eagles is decent. Considering they pass about 80 percent of the time. He also just missed getting credit on a sack, one I thought he got the first hit on Vick on.

I do think he got credit for more tackles in Oakland than he's getting in Jacksonville. I don't know. I think some stadiums get some homer scoring.

I'm going to give him until Week 8 to get straightened out.

Possible, but that would suggest a change was made in practice this week. Allen played in the nickel last week.
Started the first series as the outside nickel backer, but wasn't there the rest of the game. May not be comfortable yet, possibly with the game plan against Vick, as he was looking to Smith for help on a couple of those snaps.

I didnt see the game but nfl.com has morrison listed with 8-2 today

MFL has him listed as 2-1

anyone else seeing this?

What's going on with Kirk Morrison, will he get it back on track?
Morrison hasn't played in subpackages since Week 7. His numbers against two of the better matchups in the league over the past two weeks suggests that he's not even a trustworthy LB4 in those weeks where he might get on the field for more than 40 snaps.

I think sometimes we blur NFL value and FF value.

Morrison was a FF stud for several years with Oak, but maybe he wasn't really that valuable to his NFL team afterall?
