I'll give it a try.Does anybody hear in the PSF listen to the breaking points podcast? If so what are your guys thoughts? Would love to hear from both sides of the isle.
I'll give it a try.
Thanks for the heads up....
I recently found/heard them on Rogan and have started listening to them. Really enjoying it so far.I watch them on youtube, before and after the move. I hope they become the pioneers of MSM where we get open discussion on topics w/o political spin and both sides realize that their party isn't perfect.
Recently started listening to it, and really like it. IMO they do a decent job of bagging on both sides and bringing up a variety of topics.Does anybody hear in the PSF listen to the breaking points podcast? If so what are your guys thoughts? Would love to hear from both sides of the isle.
thats where I heard of them a while ago, back when they were on The Rising/The Hill channel. And while I found them very open and honest there, but they were interviewed by others and during the transition to their own network, and told some a stories where they claimed they were even heavily censored on their past network. Some interesting stories about how even a small independent network bows to pressure. I can only imagine how a major network would be. I'm really hoping they stay pure and redefine MSM.I recently found/heard them on Rogan and have started listening to them. Really enjoying it so far.
This!I watch them on youtube, before and after the move. I hope they become the pioneers of MSM where we get open discussion on topics w/o political spin and both sides realize that their party isn't perfect.
Me too. I find myself agreeing with both of them often, love that they are speaking truth to power and the system, and while they have their political belief systems they aren’t party first dogmatic. This!
I find them to be the most honest of anyone I've watched. Especially Krystal.![]()
You're spot on with this assessment.Me too. I find myself agreeing with both of them often, love that they are speaking truth to power and the system, and while they have their political belief systems they aren’t party first dogmatic.
Yeah, that's the name of it.No I haven’t. Is that the name? Thanks for the heads up.
Enjeti's background is on the right - used to work with Tucker Carlson at the Daily Caller. Ball came from MSNBC and was in politics as a Democrat - ran for congress in Virginia some years ago. They show their colors pretty readily. Very good show imo when they are speaking on topics that interest me.Interesting. I watched the one on Whitehouse trying to hide who buys Hunter Biden art. I assume one of the hosts is more on left and other on right. Was refreshing after watching the video, I still couldn't tell which one was which.
Uh oh, @BladeRunner - did you know this about the love of your life?Enjeti's background is on the right - used to work with Tucker Carlson at the Daily Caller. They’re both pretty pragmatic. Saagar calls himself right but struggles to identify with the party today. Krystal identifies herself as left but struggles to identify with the party today.Interesting. I watched the one on Whitehouse trying to hide who buys Hunter Biden art. I assume one of the hosts is more on left and other on right. Was refreshing after watching the video, I still couldn't tell which one was which.
Excellent post and a perfect example of how our media is failing us (or more accurately how we are failing ourselves by watching or clicking on that garbage). Also a great example of how important it is to listen to all sides of a well presented discussion.Been watching them on Youtube from the start....when they were part of the The HIll's Rising show. They are more issues oriented than the MSM by a long shot, which is what I'm interested in. Being progressive myself, I like hearing right leaning opinions/issues presented in a way I can understand and empathize with. I may not agree with the majority of Saagar's politics (or even all of Krystal's). But he sources well and I can always get a better take than what Fox, OANN, etc produce. I've agreed with several of his takes. It's allowed me to understand and interact better with some of my more conservative associates/co-workers/ etc where I live in Florida. I tell ya...being deep blue around here can be extremely taxing to say the least.
If anyone is new to the show and wants some history about the reason behind the switch from The Hill's 'Rising' podcast; watching the first few episodes(premiere) of the Breaking Points channel gives some good back story on how MSM influences content across the board(which I'm sure we all knew) and just made their life a living hell as they tried to give viewers pertinent info on political issues.
I might have to listen to the first couple now. I didn't know about this pod, so I was a little late to the game of starting to listen. I just knew of them from the Rogan pod, and were impressed with them on that.Excellent post and a perfect example of how our media is failing us (or more accurately how we are failing ourselves by watching or clicking on that garbage). Yeah I do lots of travel for my job so have a bunch of pods on rotation, almost no current politics though beside this recent add. Love them.I might have to listen to the first couple now. I know I am a broken record, but if you get some good ones in your rotation, I love the format of podcasts - especially ones like this that purposely try to get a couple people of different slightly different views talking about stuff. Much better than clickbait articles and network talking heads yelling at you.
Maybe we turn this into a 1/2 politics pods recommendation thread?Yeah I do lots of travel for my job so have a bunch of pods on rotation, almost no current politics though beside this recent add. Love them.
It's well worth the time. We all knew MSM was somewhat underhanded in how they chose topics/issues to air, but some of the background both hosts are finally free to discuss without fear of retribution really hits home and validates our distrust of their corporate elitism and greed. The 2 hacks that are currently on the Rising show have totally tanked the viewership of the channel and there have been multiple host changes already, with numerous episodes being seriously ratio'd.I might have to listen to the first couple now. I didn't know about this pod, so I was a little late to the game of starting to listen. I just knew of them from the Rogan pod, and were impressed with them on that.

I haven't watched since Krystal and Saagar left, but didn't Ryan Grim take Krystal's chair? I have my problems with The Intercept but he seems like a good journalist from what I see on Twitter. The 2 hacks that are currently on the Rising show
They also spoke about this quite a bit on Joe Rogans show a few months ago.If anyone is new to the show and wants some history about the reason behind the switch from The Hill's 'Rising' podcast; watching the first few episodes(premiere) of the Breaking Points channel gives some good back story on how MSM influences content across the board(which I'm sure we all knew) and just made their life a living hell as they tried to give viewers pertinent info on political issues.
Will give 'The Argument' a tryi still find these two far too wrapped up in the game of it all and the fantasy-sport aspect of politics has zoomed up the charts of things wrong with the practice. still havent found a true crossfire show on the issues but this one is more satisfying
The conditions of the FL factory is disgusting.7/27 podcast is very good - 1/6 stuff, a great privacy/big tech segment, a shocking piece on the Frito Lay strike, the Donziger/Chevron nightmare, more Trump grifting and Fauci fraud.
The more I listen to them the more I find them squarely on point time and time again.
