Per rotoworld.com:

The Bears have ruled WLB Lance Briggs (knee) and LT Orlando Pace (groin) out for Sunday's game against the Rams.Briggs, who has a hip pointer in addition to a mild knee strain, will be replaced by Jamar Williams. It's an upgrade for Steven Jackson's matchup. Pace will be replaced on the blind side by Chris Williams while Kevin Shaffer enters at right tackle.

I would expect that he'll sit during the nickel. The Rams probably won't use a lot of three wide receiver sets, but I don't know that Williams has much more than five solo tackle upside.

I think he ended up with 18 tackles..what value is there for Williams going forward, thoughts Jene?
Value is solid as long as Briggs is out. Packers, Ravens and Vikings are all above-average matchups for an every-down T2 WLB. I had Briggs highlighted as a very attractive buy low a few weeks ago for the playoff run; that value goes mostly to Williams if he's out. I haven't seen any information yet about Briggs' status this week. Practice tomorrow may be the first indication.
