From talking to Jon Beason, I got the strong feeling he won't play Sunday.

Saints placed FS Jairus Byrd on injured reserve with a torn lateral meniscus, ending his season.
We're not sure how big of a loss it is for the New Orleans defense, to be perfectly frank. Byrd was a matador in run defense in the season's first month, contributed zero interceptions, and also was frequently being picked on in coverage. The Saints will turn to reliable Rafael Bush opposite Kenny Vaccaro. Byrd was signed to a six-year, $54 million blockbuster contract this past March. He's owed $8.1 million in 2015, $8 million of which is guaranteed.

CBs AJ Bouye (groin) and Darryl Morris (ankle) are out for the Texans. They're the first 2 CBs off the bench. Rookie Andre Hal is next up.
The Bears will start undrafted rookie Michael Ola at left tackle in Week 5 against the Panthers.
Only 6-foot-2 1/2 and 302 pounds, Ola won the Bears' starting left guard job after Week 1

My question is, does Vinnie Sunseri get a shot? Well not an athletic freak he's a very smart player, good tackler and was a defensive leader on a major college program. Bush is an average player at best and the Saints defense has not been that impressive so far.

They know what they got in Bush, why not give the rookie a shot.

Hightower is dealing with a knee injury

Easley started in place of Jones (right shoulder) but missed the second half with what the team reported as a shoulder injury. Jones was used as a situational pass-rusher
Jets ILB David Harris hurt his shoulder in Sunday's Week 5 loss at San Diego.
Harris is headed for an MRI Monday
Chargers RT D.J. Fluker (ankle) left the stadium on crutches Sunday.
Fluker went down in the second half and was replaced by Willie Smith
Eagles ILB DeMeco Ryans suffered a groin injury during Sunday's Week 5 win over the Rams.

edit: Titans SS Bernard Pollard is done for the season with a ruptured Achilles'.
Cowboys MLB Rolando McClain was forced from Dallas' Week 5 game against the Texans with a left-groin injury.
It's an aggravation of McClain's previous groin issue. McClain went down late in the fourth quarter,
Bears FS Chris Conte Sunday's game against the Panthers with a concussion.
He has been ruled out for the rest of the game. Danny McCray and Brock Vereen will fill in.

Matt Elam has a shoulder contusion

Chris Canty has infection in wrist and he had surgery on it. He's out for a couple if weeks.

Browns coach Mike Pettine considers LCB Joe Haden (hip) "iffy" to play in Week 6 against the Steelers.

Rodgers-Cromartie was undergoing tests on Monday for a leg injury he suffered in the Week 4 victory over the Redskins. The Giants called it an ankle problem, but the veteran cornerback returned to the game. He was not listed on the injury report last week, and was in and out of Sunday's win over the Falcons.

Even though Rodgers-Cromartie downplayed what he called "ankle soreness" after the game, it has apparently developed into something that has the Giants concerned.

What do you think the ceiling on Kendricks is this season? LB3/2-?
Assuming he is healthy? It would depend a little bit on your league scoring, but:

Heavy tackle with minimal points for PD, TFL, etc.... mid-LB2

Moderate-to-big play leagues: LB1-

Darrelle Revis told the media the injury to LB Jerod Mayo is "tragic" based on what he means to the team. Obv indicates it's very serious.
The knee injury Patriots LB Jerod Mayo suffered in Sunday's Week 6 win at Buffalo is reportedly "significant."
Mayo's injury looked severe when it happened as teammates kneeled around him and the cart came out. The Patriots used Chris White and safety Tavon Wilson to help replace their six-time defensive captain.
The Seahawks believe CB Byron Maxwell suffered a high ankle sprain in Sunday's loss to the Cowboys.
Maxwell went down in the second quarter
Redskins RCB David Amerson is done for the day in Week 6 with a concussion.

Packers CB Tramon Williams left Sunday's Week 6 game at Miami with an ankle injury and is questionable to return.
Williams was able to walk off the field under his own power in the third quarter, but was hobbling pretty good
Packers CB Sam Shields left Sunday's Week 6 game against the Dolphins with a knee injury in the third quarter.
Shields and fellow CB Tramon Williams both got injured within minutes of each other. Shields' injury was strange, as he just collapsed without contact even before the play started.
Broncos WLB Danny Trevathan was forced from Denver's Week 6 game against the Jets with a left-knee injury, and will not return.
Trevathan went down in a heap, and was carted to the locker room
Broncos WLB Danny Trevathan has been diagnosed with a fracture above his left knee.
Browns DE Armonty Bryant was forced from Cleveland's Week 6 game against the Steelers with a right knee injury, and is questionable to return.
Bryant is technically "questionable," but could put no weight on his right leg, and was carted to the locker room

Flowers also dealt with a groin injury in Week 2.
Jerry Jones confirmed that RT Doug Free (foot) will be out 3-4 weeks.
Patrick Willis will have an MRI Tuesday on toe.

Again with the ####### neck:

Bengals linebacker Vontaze Burfict will not return Sunday at Indianapolis. It was announced in the third quarter that he was ruled out with a neck injury suffered in the first half when he hit Colts quarterback Andrew Luck with his helmet.

Raiders S Usama Young suffered a serious knee injury in Sunday's Week 7 loss to the Cardinals.
Young as carted off in the third quarter and coach Tony Sparano said the prognosis "probably won't be great." The next man up would be Brandian Ross.
Bears CB Kyle Fuller broke his hand and suffered a hip pointer in Sunday's Week 7 loss to the Dolphins.
Fuller was able to go back into the game with a cast after the hand injury, but later was knocked out by the hip issue.
The Redskins fear OLB Brian Orakpo sustained a partially torn right pectoral in Sunday's win over the Titans.
Orakpo is going for an MRI Monday. Note that he tore his left pectoral in the 2011 regular season finale and then reinjured it in Week 2 of the 2012 season.
edit: Redskins OLB Brian Orakpo has been diagnosed with a torn right pectoral and is out for the season.
Chargers CB Brandon Flowers was forced from San Diego's Week 7 game against the Chiefs with a concussion, and will not return.

Saints NT Brodrick Bunkley exited the team's Week 7 game against the Lions with a concussion.

Bell is technically questionable to return, but will almost certainly sit out the remainder of a blowout loss. Undrafted rookie David Foucault is now protecting Cam Newton's blindside.
Colts ILB Jerrell Freeman left Sunday's Week 7 game against the Bengals with a hip injury, but later returned.
Freeman, who had been battling a hamstring injury over the last few weeks, only missed a series or two
Rams RCB Janoris Jenkins was forced from Week 7 against the Seahawks with a right knee injury.
Jenkins made a tackle on TE Cooper Helfet before the pile of other players landed on him, bending both of his knees awkwardly. His right knee looked like it took the worst of it. Jenkins had to be helped off the field with tears rolling down his face.
Bengals CB Leon Hall left Sunday's Week 7 game at Indy with a back injury.

Bears LE Lamarr Houston fears he suffered a season-ending knee injury in Sunday's Week 8 loss at New England.
Houston injured his knee celebrating a sack of Jimmy Garoppolo in a 48-23 game. He may have Gramatica-ed himself. An MRI Monday will have the final word. "I probably shouldn't have celebrated like that, but it happens," Houston said
Lions coach Jim Caldwell was not optimistic about Nick Fairley's knee injury following the Lions' Week 8 win over the Falcons.
"I'm not quite certain where he is right now," said Caldwell, "but obviously, when you're carried off the field, it's not the greatest news. We'll see what the doctors say about him." Fairley's right leg folded awkwardly under him after taking a hit from teammate Ndamukong Suh. Fairley had to be helped off the field, and was pointing to the inside of his knee on the bench
Colts OLB Erik Walden left Sunday's Week 8 game at Pittsburgh with a hip injury.
Cardinals CB Patrick Peterson left Sunday's Week 8 game against the Eagles in the second quarter with a concussion.

NYG: LB Jon Beason will undergo season-ending surgery to repair his injured right foot. The procedure has not yet been scheduled.
As suspected, MRI confirms Rams OT Jake Long did tear an ACL, per sources.
The Chargers are making a change at cornerback. Richard Marshall is out. An Oceanside native is in. The team has agreed to terms with cornerback Richard Crawford, a source said Monday. He tried out for the team recently and will replace Marshall on the 53-man roster. The veteran was released Monday ..
Byron Bell left with an injury, but came back. He would leave again on the last plays of the game. Thomas DeCoud left in the second half with a leg injury. Roman Harper left the game as well. Kawann Short left with an injury but came back into the game.

not sure if this counts

The Panthers’ efforts to mount a comeback against the Seahawks with 47 seconds left were compromised by the fact Harper laid on the ground after not making a play, costing them an injury timeout.

Roman was fine,” Panthers coach Ron Rivera said, via Bill Voth of Black and Blue Review. “The doctor said, ‘What happened?’ He said, ‘I tried to dislodge the ball, it was a big hit. I was actually just laying there for a second, and the referee thought I was hurt.’”

Harper stayed on the ground after trying to put a shot on Seahawks tight end Luke Willson, but it didn’t work, as he scored the game-winning touchdown. But because Harper stayed on the ground pouting, the Panthers were charged an injury timeout in the last two minutes.

“I was pissy,” Harper said. “It’s part of the game, part of my emotions. I was just trying to make a play. . . .

Kool-Aid Larry said:
Jerry Jones says Justin Durant out for year with biceps tear
--Cornerback Chris Cook underwent season-ending hamstring surgery on Friday. The injury was so severe there was some bone damage, Harbaugh said.
My God that sounds bad.........makes me quiver just reading it. A Hammy injury that bad sounds maybe like career threatening
Nah, it's a the most severe type though.

Lamarr Houston, DLE: -2.9

Breakdown: Houston’s overall grade was the worst of any Bears’ defender, as the defensive end converted 33 pass rushes into just one pressure, an unblocked sack in the fourth quarter.

Signature Play: With 3:24 left in the game, Houston sacked Patriots backup QB Jimmy Garoppolo, his first sack of the year. He then pulled a Stephen Tulloch, appearing to injure his knee while celebrating the play, and left the field on a cart.
thx, PFF

Jaguars placed CB Alan Ball on injured reserve with a bicep injury, ending his season.
gratz had been benched, but he'll be back as the starter going fwd.

also, blackmon, their 3rd corner, is hurt, so they'll have some chump in there at nickel.

jesus.....600 from roethlisberger?

Cortez Allen was benched once.

Now, it appears that the $26 million man is being benched again – this time for real.

Allen went from an owner of a new multi-million dollar contract the day before the start of the season to being pushed out of his starting position by Brice McCain and now to the bench by Antwon Blake.

Let that sink in for a minute – Cortez Allen lost his starting job to Brice McCain and now forced to the bench by Antwon Blake.

It hasn’t been a particularly good couple months for what the Steelers thought was their shutdown cornerback of the future.

Allen now will likely be relegated to standing on the sidelines come Sunday against Baltimore. William Gay will start at right corner and Brice McCain at left corner. When the Steelers go to their nickel package, Blake will take McCain’s spot and McCain will move to the slot corner.
