L.T.vs the Bucs? (1 Viewer)

What can we expect this week? The Bucs are dinged up on the D line, and Brooks might not play and the last two opps. have run all over them. On the other hand L.T. just doesn't look the same, he had K.C. last week and if not for a late TD I would have lost my playoff game. I am rolling with Turner and R.Brown in my super bowl matchup this week, just can't believe it, I don't trust L.T. this year.

Im in the bowl this week with LT. Ive trusted him all year and will this week. no choice as I have barber, faulk and C. Taylor.

Awful offensive line vs. a run D that has given up 474 rushing yards in the past 2 games.

What will give?

I'd put my money on the defense pushing around the OL in a critical game for the Bucs at home. The Chargers are still barely alive, but they (including LT) certainly aren't playing with that sense of urgency.

FWIW I'm sitting LT2 in favor of SJax and PThomas. I think LT2 has hit the cliff of old age and is hanging on for his dear life.

Huh? They won a tough game on the road last week with 2 TDs in the last 1 1/2 minutes. It'll be a tough task going all the way to TB, but they're certainly not laying down.

Fair enough - I wouldn't say they're laying down, although part of their comeback last week was reflective of playing the dismal Chiefs. They're certainly not going to get the same doormat in Tampa.

Jovan Haye and Chris Hovan, Tampa’s interior defensive linemen that have been out the past two weeks, practiced fully yesterdary. The Bucs are 6-0 at home this year and they look like a different team in Raymond James Stadium.

I wouldn’t expect too much from LT, but I also thought the Bucs would slow Michael Turner down after being embarrassed on MNF.

Yeah, the game is actually an interesting one, and big for both. Denver's loss last week only gives the Chargers another shot in the arm. If they win, and Denver loses (which is more possible than people realize -- Buffalo is going to be able run, run, run), then SD gets Denver AT home in week 17.Anything could happen in this TB/SD game.

;) Did Turner's yards = points on the board?174 yds = 10 points in regular timeTurner was good, but the rest of the offense not so much.Bucs have their backs to the wall and need to win to stay in the wildcard hunt and they are at home. I don't think LT will be able to have Turner-like numbers in Tampa.

Show me one time LT has performed up to expectation against a poor or faltering run defense. Just because Tampa has given up a lot of rushing yards as of late doesn't mean LT is going to do much of anything. Look at the last two weeks rushing-wise.

These aren't poor or faltering run defense, but I think the stats say something: 2 TDs vs the Jets and 1 TD vs PIT.If you are considering the last two weeks, note that LT has been avg 15.8 fantasy points in PPR for the past 12 weeks. Not saying he's a lock to do well, but he's not a lock to fail either.

:loco:  :bs: And with Boldin looking like he's gonna be out this week, LT is looking more and more appealing to put in my lineup :football: I love those consistent numbers he's been putting out each week.

LT = finished.he can't do it anymore.the line stinks, he stinks. I wouldn't bank on him for anything more than about 30-40 yards rushing.

I agree. LT has trouble against very poor teams like KC and Oakland. No way he produces at Tampa. He is firmly planted on my bench this week as I do not see him getting more than 50 yards with no TDs.

FWIW, Im sitting LT for Pierre, Lynch, and DeW. Tossed around putting in LT over Lynch or DeW, but they have had more upside all year than LT.

i have a hard decisison, do i sit him for T.Choice? I think its a gamble as me and my opponent both have LT, i could play it safe and they both cancel each other out or i could go with a guy that might score more....

:lmao: Grahamburn consistently post solid Bucs info. Unlike people who make generalized statements based on stats from the last 2 games.

Just wish they would let him try to punch it in on 3rd and goal from inside the 5, but considering how bad his performance has been this year, I'll definitely take it.

He's doing slightly better than I though he would. I probably should have started him but was swinging for the fences with a bench guy this week.
