thoughts on the last five or six games for Mixon or just cherry-picking one half of a game?
I think i play a lot of FF like many on here, that guy never makes it on my roster, maybe I disliked his whole arc when he arrived amid some pretty gnarly accusations so i could be biased. But every time I have taken that guy on a DFS ticket he BOMBS and so today i made sure to NOT put him on any tickets and I'm just saying he never leads me to great things. If your experience with Mixon is different so be it.

How ya been man?

Villalobos, this past weekend in Miami -Art Basel, I've always wanted to listen to him spin records live.

he’s currently RB 5 in my league and has been a beast so far.  But this is my first year playing FF in five years.

I’m good.  I’m all into Breaks and D&B….check out Rinse.fm.

:goodposting:

Mixon has been a stud this year.   His big injury knock hasn't even cropped up.

You did say Rinse.fm, right?

Rinse has so many sets on SoundCloud by being from Miami, I'm a Danyy Daze fan myself

Pretty sure you know who he is if you like breaks but I like this IglooFest set a lot

Montreal and he's basically mixing on ice, only a Miami Boy would have this much fun

Cheers!

Wow, that seems more like a play the Chargers are usually on the wrond end of, not the right end.

I have never seen a team go for 2 when your up 8.............LAC lucked out they got a penalty there so now have to kick XP

Yeah.... kick the extra point and make it a 2 possession game I don't understand what they were thinking at all, that is much more valuable than the difference between an 8 and 10 point lead.

Here is a good article on the subject: When To Go For 2, For Real.

That article makes it seem like it isn't as much of a difference in win probability as you might think, but it does favor kicking the XP. But that is using average data, not team-specific data. The Chargers have a better than average offense, and I believe they have converted 2 pointers at a rate higher than this model generally assumes, which is a range that tops out at 55%. But I'm not sure where to find success rate on 2 point conversions (or possibly all plays with 2 yards to go) for the Chargers offense and Bengals defense.

It is also true that Hopkins missed an XP today, though he subsequently made 3 others (2 others prior to this decision). Including his first 3 XP attempts today prior to this decision, he was 24/28 on XPs this season (85.7%)... entering today's game, he was #24 in the league in XP percentage. That is below average, and figures into the Chargers' calculations in these situations. If nothing else, it just underlines the fact that the XP is not automatic.

I think it was a much closer call than the general reaction from @GreenNGold and @Dez here, and may have arguably been neutral or slightly favoring going for 2.
