Might happen today.Titans waived him... go get him Cowboys!
I'm thinking "camp body" fits here, but who knows.http://247sports.com/Bolt/Report-Cowboys-to-release-RB-Synjyn-Days-sign-Lache-Seastrunk-37652833
Well, as long as they don't spend any money on him, I don't have a problem with him sitting on the bench.
who knows is right. But, dmc is banged up, Ryan Williams is always banged up, last I heard Dunbar might not make the final cut.3C said:I'm thinking "camp body" fits here, but who knows.mikmak8902 said:http://247sports.com/Bolt/Report-Cowboys-to-release-RB-Synjyn-Days-sign-Lache-Seastrunk-37652833

If he couldn't beat out the Redskin's 3rd string backs, he can't beat out anyone.paid about 40% of my free agent money for this guy. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=gT8yGd1I6vs
Has me drooling over what he could do behind Dallas OL. Hate to be in that room with him and Randle though...
He definitely is a long shot.paid about 40% of my free agent money for this guy.
Justin Forsett actually stuck on NFL rosters along the way. He's a journeyman. Seastrunk, right now, is a "never was". I liked Seastrunk as a prospect a lot, but the guy fell to the sixth round of the NFL draft and is on his fourth team already in only his second NFL season. He's a long shot to say the least. Obviously he's in a landing spot where he can potentially make some noise if he impresses though.Justin Forsett disagrees. Just sayin.
Forsett has actually played in many games with a few different teams while Seastrunk hasn't played yet in a real game. Tough to compare the two, but on the surface I guess I could see your reasoning for comapring the two.Justin Forsett disagrees. Just sayin.
The Cowboys signed RB Lache Seastrunk to help them get through minicamp practices.
Ryan Williams (knee) and Darren McFadden (hamstring) are both banged up. The Cowboys need a body to work in behind Joseph Randle and Lance Dunbar, so Seastrunk is getting a chance. He's not expected to stick on the final roster.

Yeah obviously. But to say journeyman never arrive is just not true. No two players are the same. Sixth round picks might have a different journey in the NFL. I'm not saying Seastrunk will or won't stick, just that not everyone comes out of the gates like Jeremy Hill.Justin Forsett actually stuck on NFL rosters along the way. He's a journeyman. This doesn't quite make sense. Seemingly they had that in synyjyn days. unless, he was hurt which im unaware of.Rotoworld:

I own Seastrunk in two leagues - took fliers on him during end of the season waiver runs - so I'd love for him to grab the Dallas job and run away with it, However the truth of the matter is that three teams (all of which have pretty poor RB depth) have released him already. That doesn't speak well for him.Yeah obviously. But to say journeyman never arrive is just not true. No two players are the same. Sixth round picks might have a different journey in the NFL. I think that is all you can ask for right now . . . the opportunity to showcase his talents. Many a "camp body' has risen to the occasion.athletic traits + opportunity = enough of a chance for me. He gets a crack and he can run away with the job...is it probable no, but it is possible
How much less likely was CJ Anderson?athletic traits + opportunity = enough of a chance for me. He gets a crack and he can run away with the job...is it probable no, but it is possible
My hope is that when he's cut by the Cowboys we don't have to hear about him ever again. How many teams have to cut Seastrunk before we will learn not to pick him up?
You and I see something different. That is part of what makes this hobby fun.I watched his highlight reel and came away really impressed with his ability to get caught from behind and get tackled easily.
I have never heard anything specific regarding character issues, but you start to wonder what there is with him. What have you heard?I still think he'd be a decent kick-returner. Guy is a weirdo though.

Ok, I gotta admit that is a bit creepy . . . but is that the only dirt that has been uncovered on this guy? Are there some coachability concerns or character issues scaring teams away? "Beats to the tune of his own drum and can be susceptible to hanger-ons."From his 2014 draft profile. Nothing specific regarding character, but not something you would usually hear about a strong "team" guy.I have never heard anything specific regarding character issues, but you start to wonder what there is with him. If you read the previous page, I highly doubt this is about his talent and moreso about him personally. This quote helps even though nothing has been specifically said publicly. Again, you don't blow up a combine and have the college production and multiple NFL writers tout you as a high level prospect and bounce out of the league this quickly without some character concerns (on or off the field). Not that it matters but I did get some inside on this guy. Seems to be an arrogant individual who's very vocal when he's not starting over other running backs. The talent is there but unfortunately so is the attitude.
I said I would share once I got the scoop so take it for what it is.

good thing that a human can change. Guess you are of the fixed mindset. I prefer to believe people can change and mistakes are an opportunity to learn (growth mindset). On a side note, if you lean that way You should read carol dweck's book on this type of attitudeA leopard can't change it's spots.this is likely. Why even come to post this? Thanks for nothing dude. His personality is only a multitude of things that keeps him on or off a roster. TO, Moss and many of others have been allowed to play in the league. His 4 trips around the league is frustrating given the perspective many had on him last offseason heading into the draft, some even paying a high price. That being said guys like James Wilder haven't had four shots at sticking to a team so there is athleticism there to draw teams attention. In deep dynasty's you have to at least throw this guy at the wall and see if he sticks. The Cowboys OL is arguably the best in the league. Lesser talents have done a lot more when given an opportunity like this. Ultimately, yes, it will come down to his work ethic and growth in the passing game and maybe growth as a person but it's not like people haven't transformed from within the game before.A leopard can't change it's spots.this is likely. Indeed. Here are the three key words you need to remember from this thread: "Titans waived him...". The Titans. Waived him.Wishful thinking that he will ever be fantasy relevant.
There are worse lottery tickets out there. No one's saying it's going to happen, but it's a pretty ideal situation for him to be in right now...Indeed. Here are the three key words you need to remember from this thread: "Titans waived him...". The Titans. Waived him.Wishful thinking that he will ever be fantasy relevant.
Dallas' coaching staff is known for giving players a chance, regardless of draft status, off-field incidents or whatever. Rolando McClain had already been labeled as huge first round bust, was even cut by the Raiders and then retired after a short stint with the Ravens. The Cowboyd acquired him and he started to blossom and be a team leader. Obviously Garrett has a knack for players with "character concerns" (McClain, G.Hardy, L.Collins, R.Gregory, D.Bryant...), although there haven't been any reports about possible off-field issues by Seastrunk. Who knows. Maybe Seastrunk's game just needs some refinement... If Seastrunk can impress the coaching staff in training camp, he's got a good shot to at least make the roster. Especially with McFadden and R.Williams already nursing injuries. And keep in mind that J.Randle and L.Dunbar were reported to be on roster bubble in recent months as well. So basically anybody can take the job and run with it. Why not take a flier on Seastrunk somewhere in the 200+ range of your draft, while the other teams are picking their kickers and backup tight ends?Indeed. (RotoWire) Seastrunk has been seeing plenty of action right away in OTAs due to injuries to Darren McFadden (hamstring) and Ryan Williams (knee), the Dallas Morning News reports.
Analysis: At this point he's still a long shot to make the team out of training camp, but neither McFadden nor Williams are exactly iron men, so if Seastrunk can make a positive impression he could yet factor into the Cowboys' 2015 plans.

We will create buzz around this player by stating the obvious. IF, McFadden and Williams are hit by meteors, Shestunk can make the team.
Prediction: He will be back on waivers before you know it.

If Seastrunk was just picked up as a "practice body", they might have kept Synjin Days as well. What's the sense of picking up a former Baylor standout, who happens to be pretty popular in the Dallas area, just to put him back on waivers? Or is it just a ploy to motivate...eh...Darren McFadden??Sadly, McFadden and Williams are about as sturdy as a cardboard bridge in a hurricane. But still, Shestunk stinks.
