His second touchdown with under minutes left saved me in the first round of my playoffs. Of course he has been great all season but he really save me the misery of losing as a one seed. He is the best and from everything I have read he is a really great guy as well.

So thank you Mr. Tomlinson.

Don't have him, don't play against him, and thanks to the Jets-Bills game have barely seen him play this year.

All that said ... what a season. Congratulations to him and the Chargers for deservedly winning the AFC West this season. It will be fun to see the Cutler-Rivers battles over the next several years.

Yeah but I've been here before. Week 16 he gets 30 yards and sits. :bag:
Oh I sure hope so. I need him to go big for my one team in week 15 and then I plan on playing him in my other league in week 16.

From a qupte earlier in the year, he said he'd appreciate a cut of your FF winnings. ;)

That said, I picked the right year to FINALLY have a top-2 pick.

T/Y Mr. LT.

And T/Y Mr. #1 overall drafter who took LJ instead.

Tomlinson will appreciate this.

And you've got to like a guy who politely humors fantasy leaguers who impolitely inform him of how many yards and TDs they need from him that week.

"They never really say thank you," Tomlinson said.

2 Leagues, 2 points titles, and 2 #1 seeds.

In a Redraft league I picked him third. I tried to trade up to one or two to get him but I was rebuffed. He fell to me at #3 despite getting 1/2pt per rec. in this league

Keeper League w/ $200 Salary Cap. I traded the #13 pick(turned into Hines Ward $18) and a keeper player, Edge $55 for the first overall pick, where I promptly took LT, then sat back and watched 3 rounds of the draft go by before I got my next picks at 36 and 37 becasue I'd already traded my first round pick away the year before to get Edge from the same owner I traded him back to. I was suprised he took the deal beacuse I traded up the year before for the #1 overall pick to get Alexander and won the league. The best part is that I can actually keep LT for one more year for $56, while neither Edge nor Ward will be kept. This league also pays a bonus to the owner of the highest scoring active player each week. LT got me 3 bonuses, and I got two others from McNabb.

Unfortunately, in my main league I picked ninth and didn't get him, but a guy in my division did. I started the year 9-1, but then lost 3 of 4 to lose the division to the LT owner. I did win the wildcard, which gives me the honor of playing LT for the second week in a row, and the third time this year. I've got to root for him though.

So in summary;

Thank You LaDainian Tomlinson

You are the man!

Meh, do you guys realize that he has never actually been the #1 RB at the end of the year? Talk to me after week 17.

I had a 50 pt lead going into the game he played at Mile High.

I needed the win to clinch a playoff spot.

I sweated it out, but still held on.

LT is a monster, much like Faulk was.

He would go anywhere from 20-40 pts each game.

UNREAL

If I face him again this year it will be in the SUPERBOWL

I am already sweating

Um, what did you expect to find in an LT Appreciation Thread? :)

Okay, I watched from the sidelines (first round bye) as LT2 set the record yesterday. From what I can gather, one would be hard pressed to find someone more deserving of the accolades.

[hijack]Now that the Chargers have clinched both the division aaand home field, what does this portend for us LT2 owners weeks 15 and 16? Does Turner get the start week 16?[/hijack]

Thanks LT for being an integral part of my 8-1 run down the stretch heading into the playoffs (and #1 bye).

Kudos to you and your record as well!

Good point. If Larry Johnson keeps up his current pace, and LT2 retires tomorrow, LJ will catch him around week 19.

:lmao: I don't think I could have wrapped that in a gooeier, stickier, drippier lathering of sarcasm. Then again, you could be layering it on as well. Not sure...

he was the year that he caught 100 passes in ppr leagues. Oh and this year, even if he gets -20 a week and LJ gets 50 per

OK, I'll make a note to circle back so you can tell me that your choice for the #1 RB, Larry Johnson, got screwed by bad calls or something. LJ had like 24 TDs called back due to penalty....If you are being sarcastic, that's one thing. If you're not, its a very tough argument to make that he won't be the #1 RB.

Dear LT, I apologize that your amazing season was wasted on my POS team which just missed the playoffs despite your season. Pls never approve being put on the cover of that hideously overrated POS EA Madden game and good luck this year.
