LaMont Jordan... (1 Viewer)

Perfect signing by Pats.

He showed last year he can be one of the better backs in the league over a short period of time. Since Maroney seems to be a little on the injury prone side, he could be valuable over a 3-4 game stretch.

As far as sell high, perhaps that time would of been after his 70 catch year? I don't really know what his trade market is like. I'd presume he'd only fetch a Jerry Porter (WR3/4) type.

I expect him to be called on to get certain jobs done. He will spell Maroney some weeks, I imagine there will be some weeks we don't even see him on the field. Remember as of right now they have Maroney, Morris, Jordan, Evans, Faulk, and Eckel.

I don't think he is a sell high or buy low. What you see is what you get. I have him on my team as a handcuff for Maroney.

He's a good sell-high if the Maroney owner is panicking. Otherwise he's probably a hold. However I think there is some risk in that he could easily end up being a preseason cut if he doesn't play better than he did last year.

The dude needs to lose about 30 lbs. He looks like Tony Gwynn in the offseason. If he shows up fit, then I think it could work out well for him and the Pats. If he shows up like a fat piece of crap, then I would stay away.

He got injuried last year but for the first 4 weeks of the season he was a top RB fantasy wise.

Fantasy-wise he had a good start to last season, but NFL-wise he was nothing special. He averaged under 4ypc on a team where every other RB averaged over 4ypc. He was outplayed by both Justin Fargas and Dominic Rhodes, not exactly Pro Bowl caliber guys.I really think somebody in NE isn't going to make the team and its going to be either Morris or Jordan(unless one of them can play fullback) my money is on Morris, but it could easily be Jordan.
