JKL did a nice breakdown and should be commended for the time he put into the post. Thanks Dude....
That being said I suppose my projections are upside numbers based on recovery from a foot injury which the team expected him to recover from and possibly play last year. LJ was never put on IR and I am GUESSING they saw the direction the season was going and decided to measure the value of Kolby Smith and not risk further damage to the foot of a player they had just signed to a multi-year/million dollar contract.
The team will have to show reasonable improvement on offense and hopefully gel as the season moves along. I do expect LJ to get spelled more by Charles and Smith and probably end up with a little over 300 carries and I am hoping that they try to get him in space more in the passing game. I think it is reasonable to assume he will get close to 90% of the touches inside the red zone. I also think their schedule is middle of the road but I did not check the official breakdown I just took a casual look at their opponents.
