Yeah, I'm sure you'll have trouble finding people on the Pats' bandwagon...I'm a niners fan, but I think the pats will win this one. Bal doesn't have the WR or QB talent to take advantage of the banged up NE secondary, and that's their only weakness right now.

I'm a pats fan. Born and raised in MA. I can't imagine how you can think the Ravens will even make it a good game. ALL I can say is 24 outa 25, and still going. Brady is the man, probably the best QB in the league.

I agree this game should be a low scoring affair. Baltimore's offense will struggle on the road, despite the banged up NE 2ndry. Boller has improved and has incentive cause the Pats traded him for a 1st rd pick. However, Bill knows Boller very well and will attack his weaknesses (just ask Bledsoe). This game will still be close since I see a long day for the Pats offense as well.....looks like a last minute FG win for the Pats at home (where they havnt lost in a long long time).

Yeah, the Titans didn't use to lose at home either until the Ravens fixed that.By the way, if Law and Poole were healthy, the Pats' secondary still wouldn't be as good as Baltimore's.Law would be the Ravens' #2 CB. Poole would be about #5 behind McAlister, Baxter, Deion and Chad Williams.Homer glasses aside, does anyone else think Rodney Harrison's play has declined significantly this season? Sure, he's still good for one or two big hits a game, but he struggles to cover in the best of situations and far too often has his nose in the opponent's backfield looking to lay out an RB while a WR streaks downfield behind him.

Agreed, but when you lose your 3 best offensive players(and not only that, but Heap, JLewis, and Ogden were our 3 best offensive players BY FAR), then its tough. That would be the equivalent of Philly losing McNabb, TO, and whomever their best o-lineman is. How do you think that would affect them?

The Pats will be playing a short field all day. They will have the Ravens pinned down and forced to punt then have great starting field position. With Branch back, they will go 5 wides alot. Who the Ravens gonna leave one on one? That guy is going to have a great day. Brady progresses through his reads fast and makes great decisions, not to mention his pocket awareness.So when the Pats only have to travel 60 yards or less to score, they will score a buch.

The Ravens, when healthy, are a pretty good team. The Steelers just havn't had any injuries while the Ravens have.

First off, Week 2 was a looooooong time (and Tommy Maddox) ago.

Maddox (this was a good one though)

Kendall Simmons - out for season

Duce Staley - out last 3 weeks

Kendrell Bell - has played 2-3 games all year

Chad Scott - been out since week 5

Casey Hampton - out for season

Plaxico Burress - hammy, may miss 2-4 weeks

It's not like these are special teamers, man... you're talking about a starting OG, starting RB, Pro-Bowl LB and NT, #1 CB, etc....

I have had it up to the eyeballs with people pointing to other teams' injuries as the reason that they're not where the Steelers are. The Steelers have had as many if not MORE serious injuries than a lot of these teams; the difference is that they had the depth and the resolve to overcome those injuries. Stop looking for excuses.

Thats the only thing other teams can say. Coming into this year the Steelers weren't supposed to do anything and the Patsies were supposed to steam roll everybody on their way to a second consecutive Super Bowl title.

The media and fans of other teams have NO idea how to deal with this. This is their attempt at trying to save face.

Well, at least Eagles fans have stopped with the excuses, I think.
