I love Will Forte and the premise of this seems hysterical. But I'm not sure how you make a TV series out of the concept. I am looking forward to seeing how this plays out. Premieres the same night Battle Creek does.

Seems like a crazy concept. But should be funny - at least at first.

I have to imagine that in the not too distant future, he will meet up with some other survivors.

Plus they call it the Last Man on Earth. Is it possible there are women out there?

Although Forte may be the Last Man, he's not necessarily the last person. Kristen Schaal, January Jones, Cleopatra Coleman, Mel Rodriguez and Mary Steenburgenalso will appear in the series, although characters could appear in dreams or flashbacks as well as present-day life.

Kristen Schaal is hilarious. I'm already more on board now that I know that she's one of the people who came up with the show.

Part of me is upset because this has to hurt the prospect of a Y: The Last Man dramatic series, which I've always thought would be perfect for HBO.

But the promos look legitimately different and its nice to get a comedy that tries to do something we haven't seen before (although I think the earliest days of Fox had a comedy about a small group of post-nuclear disaster survivors).
