So Smith is gone, and likely Holt and CJ will be too....

of the following, and you can choose two, who would you choose and why?

TO - scares the #### out of me. Romo is a BIG ?

Wayne - I would strongly consider him over Marvin

Marvin - see above + getting old. Is the torch being passed and is this the year Wayne becomes #1 in INDY?

Roy Williams - I am high on him. Lions are going to put up some serious pts

Fitz - on the fence and wonder how he and Anquan along with a full season of Leinert are going to fare?

I am really starting to like Javon Walker as a great WR1 option. Current #32 overall ADP, #10 WR. Walker was the 9th best WR in 2006 with Rod Smith still around. What's his production going to be like when he's the primary focus? With Brandon Marshall struggling with one foot in the dog house, I'm liking Walker's chances of reaching top 5 WR even more.

Targets 2006:

Walker 125

Smith 94

B. Marshall 38

With Smith being phased out of the offense, that leaves the Brandon twins (Marshall and Stokley) picking up the slack with Walker getting the majority of the looks. He'll be the go-to WR, the deep threat, the 3rd down Mr. clutch, etc. Walker is definitely moving up my rankings list. Dodds has him as the #4 WR. He is currently the #7 WR for me and climbing.

i'd still hang with marvin ( see my thread on who ends up on your roster every year -- for me it is "old" receivers  )

after that, i hate to say it. but i think t.o. it's looking like there will be a "randy ratio" in dallas and it just might work out better.

TO Still scares me...thanks for the responses. For anyone who picks 1st, 2nd or 3rd you could be contemplating any of these guys.

Stop overanalyzing. Terrell Owens and Marvin Harrison are the best players on the list so they should be first on the list.

What are you scared of TO for? You scared he's gonna score too many touchdowns or something?

125 Targets for Walker isn't really an outstanding number when you look at other top WRs in the league. That puts him tied for 20th. Still a great player, and if the passes are good with few drops, it makes up for a lot.

I agree, but my point was that without Rod Smith, Walker is going to see a lot more targets.

In my draft we average 6 WRs coming off the board by the end of the 3rd, with a max of 9 ('02 & '06). Right now on my board that means

Reggie Wayne: #1b on the most consistient passing offense in the NFL,

Marques Colston: Might be a reach but this guy looked like a man among boys until he twisted his ankle. I could see dropping him to the bottom of this list, but not any further.

Roy Williams: #1 guy on the most pass happy offense in the history of the NFL. He should score 8 TDs by accident.

Larry Fitzgerald: It's a new offense but Wisenhunt has shown that he knows how to get top production out of his wide receivers, even in a very conservative offense.

TJ Houshmanzadeh: I could argue for putting him three spots higher.
