Late breaking news? (1 Viewer)

I like getting the late breaking stories from Joe but there seems to be a problem dating back to the last 2 weeks - I get the updates 12 hours late. Yesterday's news about Steve Foley was "dated" Sunday 4:49 pm but was delivered Monday 6:23 am. Is this something from my ISP or a hitch in a mass mailer? This problem only seems to happen with breaking news but the "daily news" is delivered as planned. Does anyone else have this problem?

It is hit and miss for me. The Daily email is often delivered the following day.

Edit: Sundays daily update has just arrived - 8:00 am Monday

same thing happens to me....the updates are good reads, but often now day old news..!!

Think about how late you would get the much needed info if they were not here to send it at all.

Umm... They collect the top stories from that day and send them out. Not all the people on the mailing list are message board readers.

They're talking about the breaking news. Like Big Ben's surgery. At least the OP was. Some of the other replies look to be about the daily email and in that respect you are correct. Those are a collection of the previous day's news.
