Lawrence Maroney ruled OUT this Sunday (1 Viewer)

While the ESPN News ticker still states that Maroney is out for Sunday, The Boston Herald reporter has this to say:

September 4th, 2006

Maroney at practice

Posted by Albert Breer at 1:20 pm

RB Laurence Maroney was back at practice today for the first time since the Redskins game. He wore a brace on his left knee and ran without a limp, though he did seem to be stretching it out quite a bit. So maybe, contradictory to the earlier report, he isn’t quite on the shelf yet.

Some of thes epost make me :loco:

For Godsakes, the kid is a rook on a team that isn't using him like LT.

If his knee was bad, they would have never traded Patrick Cobbs. BB liked that kid. Everybody take a deep breath.

NE will beat the Bills by at least 2 TDs easy. No need to have the kid suit up if you don't need him.

Found this on Rotoworld's player update page today for those that are interested...............Laurence Maroney (knee) returned to practice Monday.ESPN reported this morning that Maroney would miss Week 1, but the first-round pick ran with no limp at practice Monday. He did wear a knee brace. We'll get a better idea of whether Maroney will play in the opener when the offical injury report is released on Wednesday.Source: Boston Herald
Are we sure it was Maroney? Possibly a guy who looks like Maroney, wearing his uniform as a decoy. :tinfoilhat:
Did BB toss a dummy wearing Maroney's jersey off a high building? That would confuse everyone.
