Bingo. He is the guy we all know that never apologizes for anything he does wrong. Always someone else's fault. In other words, he is a clown.the thing is too is that it would be refreshing to see LeBron come out and say....you know what, I shouldn't have left......some might do that, be he won't....its not in his DNA......
Couldn't agree more and I think we have some espn employees posting in this thread, the kind that throw themselves on the altar of Lebron. Another reason I don't watch that garbage network.as the "leader" he basically gave the finger to the rest of his teammates and put them in their place and how much they really mean to him.....and he is going to hide behind the "it's better to get my treatment started early" thing.....any many of the people in this thread and in todays world will buy what he is trying to sell......even though they know it's not the real truth.....but I'm not smellin what he is stepping in.....
people can go ahead and keep feeding into his prima dona I'm better than you and you just have to accept it double standard BS.....his "treatment" really couldn't wait 15 more minutes....?....really....thats gonna be the difference in the next game?...."man, really glad Lebron got that 15 minute head start on his treatment, that helped us win".....
wonder if he would have left with 6 minutes left if they were up by 30 and he played great.....I think we all know the answer to that one.....oh, but getting an early start on treatment is soooooooooooo important...
Nothing but 5 guys standing around and passing the ball until they can shoot a 3 pointer.I’m impressed so many of you still watch the NBA. It is unwatchable to me.
All that really matters is what his teammates think of the action (leaving early). If they have no issues with it then it doesn't matter. If they have issues then it matters. What we think is irrelevant.as the "leader" he basically gave the finger to the rest of his teammates and put them in their place and how much they really mean to him.....and he is going to hide behind the "it's better to get my treatment started early" thing.....any many of the people in this thread and in todays world will buy what he is trying to sell......even though they know it's not the real truth.....but I'm not smellin what he is stepping in.....

I understand where you were going with your statement. You really were just trying to say that Lebron has lived up to the hype and his abilities more than any other athlete and there are plenty of athletes that have great ability (and hype) that didn't put in the work to bring it to fruition. Whether Lebron or those other referenced are clownlike or not is probably a different discussion.I did say "arguably." I concede my list was poor (just ripped off names from the top of my head) and my goal wasn't to disparage those persons. Again, I was trying to put into context the absurdity of one suggesting that the athlete who has actually lived up to the incredible hype is a "clown."
this discussion came up on talk radio here in the Denver area....Tyler Polumbus, kind of an average offensive lineman in his day who played here with Peyton during the super bowl run etc., and some other places said on his show.....for one, he never thought Peyton would do something like that, but two, if he did, Polumbus would have been pissed off/irate/wanted to beat his ###, etc....BUT......would have never said a word to him about it.......and thats the thing, we won't really know what Lebron's teammates or anybody in the organization REALLY think about what he did, because, well........he's LeBron....and they will defend him and kiss his ### and come up with lame excuses (early treatment) even if they really don't feel that way.....even if Lebron has "earned" that type of "respect/street cred" it doesn't mean a true leader has has to act like it and actually implement it....it says more about you as a leader when you don't.....like I said, if they are up 35 and he played well, you know he ain't leaving early "for treatment" until after his on court headphone interview in the spotlight right after the game....All that really matters is what his teammates think of the action (leaving early). If they have no issues with it then it doesn't matter. If they have issues then it matters. What we think is irrelevant.
I don't think it's the right thing to do (leave early) but I have no idea how much pain, what treatment, or even what his teammates said to him about it. I am not there. Would I have left? No but what I would do really doesn't matter either.
that sounds horrible and I hope she was all right take that to the bank brohanAs an aside: One of the players (named Amari) on the women's D III team at my university caught fire during one of the games her sophomore year.
Not after leaving that big turd in the middle of the court alreadyMaybe he had to take a dump
Drama or Comedy? This thread makes the NBA thread look like it should win an emmy.
al bundy scored four touchdowns in a single game for polk high brohans dont you forget it take that to the bankThere is nothing these Al Bundys love more than Lebron losing and/or doing something different than they would have done when they were 11th man on their high school team. Like moths to a flame.
Unlike LeBron, Leaf owns up to his mistakes. Point out to me where I am wrong on this one (I didn't see him deny responsibility), but he owns up to his history and continues to deal with addiction issues clearly. To me, the guy that makes mistakes and stands up and says "I make mistakes, I'm going to work to make myself better and help others while on my quest" is much less a clown than the guy that says "I never make mistakes."do you mean the domestic battery charge from just last year or no take that to the bank brohan
I miss the days of Barkley backing down his man for 10 seconds constantly.Nothing but 5 guys standing around and passing the ball until they can shoot a 3 pointer.
while i appreciate good hot takery and salute you and while i can respect a guy taking responsibility im just going to give the edge to the guy who did the decision over the guy with a domestic violence charge but hey thats just me talking take that to the bank brohanUnlike LeBron, Leaf owns up to his mistakes. Just a few checking in to observe the proud boy gatheringFrostillicus said:Interesting how the people who post in this thread and those who post in the Nba thread (and watch it the whole year) is nearly two perfect, non-overlapping, circles.
