Lendale White reports to camp (1 Viewer)

TEN - MRI On RB White NegativeSource: Titans RadioLenDale White missed his third-consecutive day with a sore foot. Fisher said an MRI on White's toe was negative and the cause of the pain was coming from bone spurs from a previous injury. White is expected back next week. He had also suffered from the flu bug going around the camp. i'm starting to lose some of my warm and fuzzy feelings...
At this point I don't see these ailments as more serious than anything the average NFL player is dealing with. Numerous players have been hit with the flu and numerous players have bone spurs. It's how White deals with these things that will define him. I hope he shows some moxie.
Really? I was going to blame his upright running style for the foot injury... :boxing:
Nah, he incurred his foot injury while running from the grassy knoll after shooting Kennedy. :boxing:

Not a guy who seems to take this all that seriously. I'll steer clear.
White showed up to camp at less than 230. For all of you out there who jumped on the hate train" so fast because of a little weight issue (due to not being healthy) I would think this is a big deal and shows that he is taking things seriously and has worked hard.
Too little, too late for me to want anything to do with him. Just not a believer.

What if Chris Brown gets traded?

I'm sure he'll be heart-broken when he finds out

White's running behind Brown and Henry. I feel like his value is one step forward two steps back - every time he does something good, like come into camp with his weight under control, he does something stupid or awful, like spit on a teammate. At least Henry just likes to get high.

breaking news: camp hasn't started yet for 2007.

Oh right. This year is going to be different. He's going to be awesome this year. :pickle:

I don't know about awesome but without Travis Henry, it's looking at least for now like he'll have a much better opportunity. Let's see if the Titans sign another back as they're talking about but White could have a much improved playing time situation. How he responds to that is the question.J

I'm happy for him and any of his ff owners but until I see him being a productive rb in the NFL I'll remain skeptical. Think of all the times ron dayne has reported to camp "in the best shape of his life" only to do very little once the season started.

For those of you who like to point out he was 250 during the rose bowl and still excelled, I'll remind you that the NFL defenders he'll face are bigger, stronger, and faster than the guys he played against that day

The preseason reports two years running now are that the kid shows up out of shape every year. I have no reason to think he has the drive, motivation, work ethic, or attitude to be any good in the NFL.
