They might believe they can win without him against the Texans and save him for the playoffs.Leg bruise? He plays

He should play, but likely will give way late when the jags are destroying the texans...unfortunately that is when rb's usually feast, running out the clock. They might believe they can win without him against the Texans and save him for the playoffs.
Fournette loves getting numbers. He went back in the game 2 weeks ago against the Colts late in the 4th quarter in a shutout blowout after aggravating his ankle injury badly and limping off the field with barely any weight on the ankle. He should play, but likely will give way late when the jags are destroying the texans...unfortunately that is when rb's usually feast, running out the clock.
I'm no so sure.He should play, but likely will give way late when the jags are destroying the texans...unfortunately that is when rb's usually feast, running out the clock.
They're 1 game up in their division with home field advantage for at least one playoff game (they have the tiebreaker over Pitt who plays NE this week so they could conceivably still get the #2 seed and have a 1st round bye as well). They're not going to sit him out of complacency. This guy is all kinds of banged up. JAX has a cupcake schedule, a great D, and Bortles is coming on.
If I were them, I'd rest them. They have a decent shot to make a dent in the playoffs and this guy is key.
They can roll over HOU with a RB off the street.
Agree; don’t think Jax should/will take the playoffs, for granted. That being said, a win this week will have them as the #2 seed if Pitt wins. If Pitt loses, Jax needs another Pitt loss to grab the 2 seed. They're 1 game up in their division with home field advantage for at least one playoff game (they have the tiebreaker over Pitt who plays NE this week so they could conceivably still get the #2 seed and have a 1st round bye as well). I would wager on him probably not playing, but there is no way "eh we're probably going to make the playoffs anyway" is a consideration for them.
Drake would be a better start even if Fournette was 110% healthy, especially in PPR.I may just slot Kenyan Drake in over Fournette and forget about it. Tough call. Hot Drake over banged up Fournette starting to sound safer.
Agreed. Starting Drake over Fournette this week is a no brainer.Drake would be a better start even if Fournette was 110% healthy, especially in PPR.
Love that..wouldn't you...I don't understand why guys tap out of the game. I would get in there and never leave until I was dragged off the field.Fournette loves getting numbers. Agreed. Might go more to 12-16 range. Probably see a bunch early then more Ivory/Yeldon if they get ahead. He played with this injury last week. I think he plays and gets 15-20 touches.
Oh crap, need to plug in Lee to replace Fournette. Hopefully Bortles let's it rip
Plugging in McCaffrey.Plugging in Ivory over Henry, Duke Johnson and Forte.
Not Drakeis he just a one week rental or does he have a good chance to play next week as well?
Because I already have Drake,Perine, and Latavius and don't know who to drop
Last time he came back from injury he got a full workload, and him practicing today is a good sign.So coach said on Twitter he will play. How much?
