Lesean McCoy? How concerned are we? (2 Viewers)

Too much conflicting stuff on him today. Grrrr....

Starting him in my league where I need to win, and benching him in the league where I am stacked and have depth to start another good option.

Yup...crapshoot.  I'm starting shady squarely on the news williams is healthy scratch and that's it.  All the other news is noise and I'm blocking it out for decision.
Yes, you would think that says a lot about what the bills know about shady's health.  You would think that if they thought he was a risk he either wouldn't be active or Williams would if it were up in the air.

That really is what i did. Risk reward....think he goves me a better shot at making up for CamMeredith  and now Beckham too.

Would have been if Gill got all touches IMO.
Yea and his second carry of the game and first after they said McCoy is out he pops off a 20 yard run and compared to how McCoy had been looking he was shot of a cannon.

Rex should have listened to his new OC who said he did not want to play McCoy and risk re-aggravating him.

Pulling for Dolphins out of spite.

McCoy could fly over to my house right now, run wind sprints in my back yard, look back to me after he's finished and give me a thumbs up before flying back to Miami and I'd still sit his ### tomorrow afternoon. In no universe am I starting him, I don't care what the reports say and I don't care if he's active.
Never wavered.

With as much money and resources as these teams have running through them, how do they let Mccoy play?  It does not take many medical brain cells to know that a RB like Mccoy has about a 99% chance of worsening this injury in a football game, and a 100% chance of not being himself even if he does not worsen the injury.

And with New England coming to town too.  I really thought he just HAD to be okay for them to even consider letting him play today.  I seriously underestimated Rex Ryan being a total moron.  He just cost them two games and maybe more.

Never underestimate Rex.  If he wasn't related to Buddy,  he'd be a career cashier at Taco Bell

If you have both and McCoy is active and looks ok in warmups i think you play McCoy. I don't have McGillicutty so i'm benching McCoy and going Ware to pair with Lamar Miller. In another league i play the Shady owner and i picked up Gilgamesh as a preemptive block. I'm not starting him though as i'm rolling with Freeman and Crow and Tevin Coleman at flex.
After reading Shady looked to be uninhibited before kickoff subbed him in for Lamar Miller. I'm wicked smaht.

I benched him in a 16 team league for Ivory and felt good doing it. What really annoys me is him getting hurt more. Sometimes I hate football, I don't get how a lot of the coaches and gms keep getting hired.

I totally forgot Bush was on the team. Where was the talk of him this morning when everyone was creaming their pants that the third RB was a healthy scratch? That guy was clearly the 4th. PTTS but I played Gills because of the "they only dressed two RBs" nonsense.

When I said I didn't think either Glee or Shady would have value today I pointed out that there would likely be about 120 yards to go around on the ground, and they'd be split between Taylor, Glee and Shady, so you'd have to hope one guy got the receptions & GL.

well, Taylor had the RuTd, but I didn't even consider Bush. That was shocking.

And now as many predicted, McCoy likely out for an extended time. For reals this time.

I wonder if Ms Anderson will report on the duration before an MRI result comes out?

Two touches but how many snaps? Everytime redzone went to the game Bush was in.
Count me as another one else who forgot Bush was on team, but it does make sense they used him in red zone looks, given that he's a gadget back who opens the playbook more near the goal line.

Worth monitoring going forward if he was seeing a lot of meaningful snaps.

Why are people saying McCoy will be out a few weeks? Has there been a status update
Because he re-aggravated his hammy, the same injury that kept him out or ineffective last year. He could be ok this coming week but he did not look right in the game and wasn't able to finish it out. If he and the coaching staff were smart (no guarantee there) they would hold him out until after the bye at least

Bush is lucky to not have been cut, and if Jonathan Williams hadn't fumbled against the 49ers late he probably wouldn't have been scratched.  Bush has barely sniffed the field all season and didn't even get into the game at all a few weeks ago.  If the Bills didn't have injuries to their literally #1-4 WRs, Bush may have been cut awhile ago.  He is not the same player he was a few years ago.

If there is a back to own for FF purposes, it is absolutely Gillislee.  No doubt in my mind.  He has been the #2 all season, can pass-protect adequately, and is the most direct fill-in for McCoy in the offense.

and yet, Bush gets the goalline carry late in the game...1 rush for 1 yard and a TD.
