I thought there was going to be some effort to limit the number of Trump threads on the board.  Seems like there's a new one everyday.

There's a significant number of people on the board that would be delighted if there was a politics forum so that the FFA could get back to talking about Yoga Pants and deriding people that put ketchup on steak.  Can't we get back to being gambling degenerates?  Talking about our favorite TV shows?  Helping people with Excel problems?  These political threads are complete fun sponges.

Sure, I've been known to post in one from time to time, but I would be overjoyed if there weren't any on the board.

How can we break this chain?  I'd like to propose a boycott of political threads.  Just stop posting in them.  Let them drop off the first page like dominoes.  We can turn this thing around.  Who's with me?

I'm not sure why you need a boycott when you can just choose to stay out of those particular threads?

I think you may just be confused that the same 2 continue to have their names changed. 

Also, doesn't this count as a political thread, and wouldn't that invalidate your promise to stay out of them merely by posting in here?

Too meta. Asking to be apolitical and then having the request shifted to some sort of Hitchens-esque definition is a little too much to ask. 

How else to ask for apolitical front pages without addressing that which comes after the prefix?

Wouldn't even have to rename it as it'd just be understood to be the Absolutely Corrupt forum, and the most fitting place for political discussions.

 
I am fine with political discussion, but can we have a Trump forum to park all that stuff somewhere else.  

 
No reason politics can't have their own forum. They're in their own little worlds anyway. What does it benefit them clogging up the FFA? They want to be included, until you speak opposite whatever their viewpoint is and then want to exclude you. They're useless to the value of the FFA.

Trying to start a movement my man.  If enough of us stop it'll really benefit the awesomeness of other threads.

We need political threads to sink to the bottom...have people searching down to page 6 to finally run across one.

I think it's telling that it Trump guys that want this. Sorry it's not getting swept under the rug. You gave how many years of talking about Benghazi! and emails? Now that there's an actual real scandal about your beloved leader it's not going away quietly.

If he steps left instead of right - OMG!!!!

If he watches Netfilx instead of Amazon - OMG!!!

If he looks up instead of down - OMG!!!

If he picks Chocolate instead of Vanilla - OMG!!!!

When you scandalize everything, then nothing is a scandal anymore.  So when people roll their eyes at you, don't be surprised.

This isn't the first time we've seen this shtick from you.  And maybe you believe it that we are better off without political threads in the FFA.  However, running this alias to troll said threads isn't helping your case or the discourse.
