The rest of the Buffalo defense is pretty wretched, especially the LBers. But Kyle Williams has been a beast. There may not be a defensive lineman playing better than him right now. He just about single-handedly won the game against Pittsburgh. Pittsburgh's LG rang up 4 holding calls, gave up several sacks and several more QB pressures to Williams. And there should had probably been another 4 or 5 bad holding calls against him not to mention illegal formation calls since he started lining up way behind the center. But Williams dominated him all day. And he's been doing it to offensive linemen all year. The guy is near the top in lots of categories at the DT position. Just check out the info in the link here. And when you're filling out a Pro Bowl ballot, make sure Kyle Williams is on yours.

ProFootballFocus gave him a +12.5 for last week's performance. I think that's the highest grade a d-linemen has ever gotten.

I saw that too. Guess the Bills didn't need to take Troup in the 2nd round. Not bad for a 5th round tweener from LSU.

Whenver I’ve done a Re-Focused for the Bills I’ve either mentioned Kyle Williams (+12.6) or made reference to not mentioning him because it’s the easy thing to do. Well there’s no way you can have a game this good and not get mentioned. By a distance, it’s the best mark we’ve ever given out to a defensive tackle — this was near perfect as Williams destroyed the Steelers’ interior. He ended the day with a couple of sacks, another quarterback hit and three further quarterback pressures but his work in run defense was stellar. He had another seven tackles to go with his sacks and drew four holding penalties (and it could have been more). If you didn’t have Williams down as Defensive Player of the Year candidate beforehand, you should have now.

 
He deserves to not only make the team this year, but be a starter. He was a Pro Bowl alternate last year, so his name is out there.

It'll be a farce if he's overlooked for a "name" player like Vince Wilfork or Casey Hampton who's season pales in comparison. It happens every year with the Pro Bowl, and it wouldn't be the first time Buffalo was screwed over.

 
I'm not sure he should make the pro bowl. Looking back at the D Bowe thread, it clearly states that LSU players are overrated and they don't make Pro Bowls :wall: BS aside, Kyle is having a great season; dude has a motor that just won't stop.

 
Have actually watched alot of Bills this year, because I have been starting Fitz for awhile. I will second this thread, Williams is almost always wreaking havoc and should definitely be a starter in the pro bowl, if that even means anything.

 
Hear, hear! I've watched many Bills games this year and Kyle Williams is playing at a Pro Bowl level. Bills fans should be really happy with how he is playing.

If they let Kyle Williams go after his contract then that would be horrible. He is so underrated but plays like one of the top DL in the league. The guy is playing at a probowl level this year and I think he is a better DT than a NT so it doesn't matter what defense the Bills go with. Kyle Williams is easily the best player on the Bills roster and they need to keep him there for a long time.
 
that site pro football focus is a joke. i remember reading their rankings last year, and they had jason avant higher than desean jackson, and jeremy maclin. i think they had avant ahead of calvin johnson too lol. i just clicked it now, to get a laugh at their horrible rankings, but they actually expect people to pay for that trash now. :confused:

EDIT: I clicked on that defensive player of the year link, and wow what a joke. No Clay Matthews, Justin Smith????, Antoine Winfield???, and Champ Bailey?????

Then it mentions that James Harrison, DeMarcus Ware, are below them?(in the mix). Quintin Mikell in the mix? LOL he is having an awful season. He is barely even an NFL starter. This site is clearly a joke.

I noticed the o Clay MAtthews as well. I wasn't pimping there site, just suprised that someone outside of Buffalo notices any of the players there.
