It is so sad that 100 yard passing is the benchmark. I'm hoping for a surprise 250. (And I think that is what he needs for the Vikes to win the game.)Regardless, go Vikes!

terrible crackback block call on Broyles derails the Lions. He hit him in the freaking thigh. Why are those calls and chop block penalties called incorrectly nearly every time? And when they actually happen they aren't called at all.

 
Wow. Nick Fairley just pulled ADP down right at the line of scrimmage. One of the few times that I've seen Fairley do anything.

No worries though. Ponder just hit rookie WR Jarius Wright for a 54 yard reception t about the Lions 1 yard line!

I scoffed when they drafted him when they did, but so far I would say it's been a very wise choice. He extends their scoring range, and fits in with the conservative offense (for better or worse) that they play.

As impressive a he has been with long field goals, I think the touchbacks have been just as important.
 
Lions making a move. Stafford showing off his arm a little bit there on the pass to Calvin. Don't think we'll see Ponder zing them in like any time soon.

 
Love seeing 53 year old, 5'5 cornerback Winfield stuff the runner like that. Love it even more when it's followed up with a sack by Kevins Williams!

 
nice drive for Lions. Hanson money as always.

Mikel Leshoure looks better every week. He may yet prove worth the pick.

 
Holy cow. 20 yard scramble by Ponder as he couldn't find an open receiver.

Where's that guy who was comparing him to Tarkenton in one of the early weeks? I'm sorry I made fun of you.

 
After two great runs by ADP, Ponder has less pressure. He just now did something new by taking the snap and crouching down to hide behind the O-Line. Stood up and hit Rudolph for a good gain.

And why why why has Wright not been on the field yet? Line him up opposite Harvin and let Simpson stretch the field.

Almost willing to consider if the Vikings have been playing a vanilla offense the last two weeks to keep from giving the division foes (this plus next 3 games) any game tape to study. But games are too valuable to do that.

You mean lately right? Wright did work in that first drive.

:unsure: he's been in all game. and Harvin is out today. or do you mean why hasn't he played before today?
 
how is that a good job by the officials? ball bounced off the ground plain as day and they let him return it and called a TD?

Yes, I meant why hasn't he been on the field before today. Seems like even if he is similar to Harvin, that would be a good thing to get him out there. One of the biggest problems in Ponder's game has been lack of good targets, and having another "possession" guy who is elusive and apparently has the speed to get downfield as well would not hurt.

As a Calvin Johsnon owner, I beg you Vikings D., please wipe Stafford out for the rest of the season.

 
Awfully nice catch by Rudolph with the defender's arm stuck in his midsection. Lions linebacker couldn't move Rudolph after he made the catch.

Ponder continues to get some time behind the pocket and just appears so much more decisive with his decisions.

 
See? That's why you all should quit ripping Pettigrew. An almost delicate - maybe even dainty - catch in the endzone by the big fella.

Let's go with dainty.

 
Calvin going complete beast mode but gets tackled on the 3 AGAIN and they of course go to Titus Young for the TD.

Oh well, can't complain about 150 yards
