disagree. I dont have the stats in front of me, but DET D is solid and pretty damn aggressive. Sanchez is a choaker.
Man, I always hate when people say so and so is a choker...that is almost always wrong. I don't like the jets, but Sanchez played fairly well in his 3 postseason games all on the road. He didn't play well against SD, but did great against Cinci and did fairly well against Indy. The same people said Manning was a choker because he couldn't win the big one and the same people say Marino was a choker...it is just wrong and football being a team sport makes this even more off base.Back to your originally scheduled programming.
Did you watch hard knocks. He looks bored when he should be studying. He needs a few more years in college. Im not putting money on it, but Ill be rooting for Detriot. Fatboy will need another lapband after this game.

Why would the Jets pass when they can run. The Jets have one of the best rushing offenses and the Lions are one of the worst at stoping the run.

Being a packer Fan I have had many chances over the years to Watch the Lions. Even when horrible they always seemed to play tougher at home. I could see Suh getting off early and really intimidating Sanchez. He is young and not yet proficient at handleing pressure.

Stafford, on th eother hand, seems to me to have a little more fortitude and does fine against normal pressure. Of course the pressure they can bring is far above normal and even had Rodgers off of his game though he has far more experience. This should be an interesting game.

What are you predicting for Stafford? The Jets have given up 1530 yards passing. The Lions have given up 1539 yards passing. The Jets have given up 10 passing TDs.The Lions have given up 11 passing TDs.The Jets have 5 interceptions. The Lions have 8 interceptions. The Jets have 15 sacks. The Lions have 23 sacks. The Jets have the best defense in the NFL; just ask anyone. The Lions have a horrible defense; just ask anyone.
I like both QB's today. Stafford should get 260/2

In todays NFL any team can beat the other one without much surprise. Jets are also over rated. Would not surprise me at all to see Detroit win.

You need a few more classes in psychology, Freud. From all reports he is a film junkie, so I don't know if you can make a statement based on some footage for an HBO show.

Didn't he fly out all the skill position guys to work out in Cali during the off-season?I got the opposite impression as KGB (not from Hard Knocks but from everything I saw and read during the off-season) - Sanchez takes his role as a leader pretty seriously, and has worked hard to become a better QB.

I'm not a huge fan of Sanchez, but I respect that he did a lot between his rookie year and TC. He's not played as well the last few games, but IIRC he had zero turnovers in the first five games this season.

Actually, I'm pretty sure I did make a statement Einstein. And when I look at the inkblot, I see 2 monkeys kissing.

Ummmmmm, the lions are still 2-5?
I guess record means absolutely everything. Bucs are 5-2, means they MUST be better than everyone but the Giants/Falcons in the NFC.Their 5 losses: Bears (Should be a W), Eagles by 3, Packers by 2, Giants by 8, and Vikings by 2 TDs.Doesn't seem that bad if you look at would they lost to.
Ummm yes, record means everything.i never seen a team make the playoffs with a bad record cuz people said, "awww, there better then that, lets put them in"When wins stop being the most relavent thing in the NFL, I'll give you a million bucks!

:goodposting: But I am interested to see what happens. If they are a real team they can score 24+ on the Jets D.
sorry, but no. Not one single team has scored 24+ on the jets this year and they have payed the patriots, ravens and packers.
How many NFC teams have scored more points than the Lions? .........None.
Lions made quick work of the Jets awesome D....7-0 on the first drive...Detroit even had a 15 yard penalty to overcome.

After that first series, all I can say is WOW! The Jets DBs are Lilliputians compared to the huge Lion receivers. If they can't get pressure on Stafford, I see Lions with 35 today.

Where did your J-E-T-S, stink, stink, stink! post go? :angry:Do you do anything but :yucky: here? Don't think I've ever seen it if so.

Oh how I wish I could have come here to heap praise on the OP.... ugh! :wall: :wall:
They had them man. Stafford getting hurt, Hanson getting hurt....just wasn't meant to be. Must be 1 more guy in next year's draft we're meant to get on this team. We're not far from breaking through. Stafford I can't figure out what's wrong with that guy, he must not have drank enough milk when he was growing up as a kid.
