I just traded Wilson after this news. I can only imagine that locker room and the tyrannical powers Rodgers wields. I'm out.
I’m thinking about trading for Rodgers. If he’s running the show and just wants to sling it. Let it fly.
There’s no way that I would want Rodgers on my FF roster. Plays slow so they run fewer plays. Methodical. No rushing. Potential picks galore due to tight windows and not being in sync with his receivers (see Mike Williams)
I disagree - especially if they land Devante Adams. History has shown Rodgers plays very well when backed against the wall. They have weapons- 0 chance they include Wilson in any deal - He can be had for cheap so Id buy as a bye week/backup QB at this time.
Did the fact Saleh was sporting a flag that was not an American flag on his shirt a couple weeks back, did that have any impact?
Or did it have anything to do with the fact they used Security to walk him out?
What other head coaches has that been done with and was there any specific reason given for using the Chief of Security?
My feelings are they did not want him to interact with any of the players on his way out, but why?
Plenty of people who are fired from large organizations are escorted out by security.
You no longer work here. It protects property and assets. And it reduces the chance for a scene when it’s a surprising firing/let go.
This is done so much it’s sort of a trope in movies and tv shows if you watch enough.
I appreciate that and I'm fully aware of how security works in large organizations and companies
-From what I gather, this is not common for a man in Robert Saleh's position, we haven't heard about many other coaches walked out by security
Was Hackett escorted out with security when he was fired within 1 season in Denver?
You have to ask why Saleh got special treatment if this is not a common occurrence.
There are between 6 and 8 head coaches that are fired every year, are they all escorted out by the Head of Security?
Maybe it's as simple as some places they just ask the security guy to watch the cameras a little more on days they fire the coaches
I would think this is a bad look for the Jets if it's not something that is practiced with other coaches
McDaniel for Miami was not their first choice by a long shot, they were rebuffed by 3-4-5 coaches before they settled on him as a "hot candidate"
What did he do for Shanahan actually?
I would like to know if this is something that happens often by the other 31 NFL teams because it obviously made enough noise it was reported.
If it were so common or the other 31 teams do it, why would they feel the need to print it today?
I'm just asking, I'm curious if its common practice
There is something going on in that locker room, wait until we start watching players fight on the sidelines or getting into heated exchanges during the games
