I disagree on two counts. First I don't have doubts about his character appraisal to think that the odds aren't excellent that he gets the money back. That notwithstanding--when I've loaned money like that I've also valued the person who needed it enough that I didn't really worry if it took some time. In any case I certainly don't think Ron's got so much invested with what this board thinks to lie about it either way.
