tatupu has come a long ways since some scouts in his draft class thought he was a marginal talent, & wrote him off for being too small & slow... he is a classic illustration of how important intangibles are... football IQ, leadership, passion for the game, work ethic... he is a lot like zach thomas in this respect (not as voracious a tackler, but perhaps better athlete in terms of ball skills)...
