LOL Tatum Bell gets no love (1 Viewer)

NFL | Teams not contacting T. Bell about a visit

Sat, 6 Sep 2008 13:36:24 -0700

Updating previous reports, Jason Cole, of Yahoo! Sports, reports free-agent RB Tatum Bell (Lions) feels NFL teams will shy away from signing him until the matter surrounding him taking Detroit Lions RB Rudi Johnson's luggage is cleared up. Bell, as reported, said he did not realize they were Johnson's bags and has since returned them. However, Johnson claims several items - including money, credit cards and underwear - are still missing. Since the incident, Bell said teams have not contacted him about coming in for a visit.

I disagree with the "done in the league" part, at least in a literal sense. If dogs like Marcell Shipp and Artose Pinner can linger for years, Tatum was going to get a few more sniffs from teams wanting a look. The idiocy of what he did is that he probably cost himself 1-2 more years in the league, which means that he cost himself over $1M in NFL pay at a minimum. I sure hope it was worth it, TB.

The bigger question is, are you keeping this name?
