A couple months ago, I was watching an NFL yearbook episode on the Steelers for 1984 (or whatever LL's rookie season was...pretty sure that was it) -- They talked quite a bit about him. My wife, who really doesn't give a rats ### about football and other than a handful of current Steelers and Classic 70s Steelers doesn't know any of the names, hadn't heard this before, and she couldn't get over that this was his real name. For a week she walked around the house saying"Hi, I'm Louis Lipps" (using the "Velvet Jones" voice).
