Lorenzo Booker (1 Viewer)

Buckhalter has been pretty so-so filling for Westbrook. Eagles traded a high draft pick to get Booker and consistently talked him up all summer as at least having somewhat the same small-back skill set as Westbrook, though obviously not nearly as good.

Still, why does he not touch the ball at all when Westbrook's out? Does he have any value moving forward?

I believe the Eagles trust the veteran (Buckhalter) more considering they're trying to keep pace in the NFC East and they have had a brutal schedule so far. Booker may not do anything for your team in a redraft but I still believe he's a keeper in a dynasty format.

Count me as one who drank the pre-season booker kool-aid touting him as westbrook's handcuff.....i drafted him late and let some other "sucker" take CBuck. Now who's laughing?

So-so, eh? 4 yards per clip and a TD against Pitt and the Bears is pretty impressive to me. He got stoned at the GL a few times against Chi... but look what happened to the almighty Westbrook last week.He certainly hasn't been superlative... but he's been adequate at least.

For a guy that had so much preseason hype coming out of Eagles camp he seems buried. His blocking has been TERRIBLE also. It has been so bad they are putting Dan Klecko back to fullback and putting Tony Hunt back to tailback.

What a letdown he has been so far. Poor blocker, doesn't break tackles all that easily, plus he seems to run with a high center of gravity so he's easy to bring down (basically, the anti-Westbrook in that regard), and his recceiving out of the backfield has been meh at best. Plus he can't return kicks and punts.

I won't go so far as to flatly say "he can't play", but I'm struggling with what exactly he brings to the table.

I agree with most of your comments, but adequate and so-so are synonyms.

CBuck's been pretty good considering Andrews is out.

The Eagles loved Booker at the draft and it seems they purely went by that when they traded for him. Word is they were gonna draft him when Miami took him. But yeah, he's a flop so far.

I think "pretty so-so" is markedly more pessimistic than "adequate at least"... totally semantical though. (competent and effective are also listed as synonyms of adequate)

I was high on Booker all offseason, but from everything I've seen and heard he's been completely ineffective every time he sees the ball and simply doesn't seem to have any ability to run between the tackles. In a dynasty league I dropped him for Cedric Benson last week... Booker was snatched up quickly by another owner, though.
