Two weeks ago I was sell (while LT's value was still that of a top 5 pick). Right now today? Hold. His value is already beginning to dip and I think owners are better holding on and hoping he heals up if they can't switch him out for his "when healthy" value.Alot has been written about LT on this board. He has the toe injury, and the line hasn't exactly come together yet. He started slow last year and came on in the 2nd half of the season. Are you buying, holding, or selling?
Made a similar deal. LT and S. Holmes for Roth, S-Jax and B. Edwards after week 2. Haven't looked back!Alot has been written about LT on this board. As a Sproles owner, I'm interested to know what you gave up to get him.I bought last week. (In case anyone is wondering it was -Bush, Turner, Moss- for -LT, AJ, Lendale-)
I also swung a deal for Sproles with another owner just in case!
Since I got Ronnie Brown and Slaton to rotate, definitely Holding, he plays the PATs (gave 4 TDs to Brown), BUF (gave 3 rush TDs to ARI), and NO (see AD stats tonight) right before the bye. Then gets to rest the toe before he plays KANSAS CITY twice (once in the playoffs which will def help), the same team that gave up 3 TDs to Deangelo, then off to Indy, the Raiders and ATL. Only two tough D's in PIT and Tampa. He should produce. MIA is turning out to be a stout Run Defense, so not too surprised they stopped him.
No one will give you turner and jackson or forte and jackson. If they have offered that and you havent accepted then I think you need to seriously reconsider that quickly. You have one more week of sub par or average play and you wont get an offer close to that again. He may not be done or a has been but he clearly is not the old LT and those two guys you mentioned have so much more upside.I'm thinking about trading him for DeSean Jackson and either Turner or Forte. I'm still having a hard time letting go, though. He could easily surprise us all and come back into form.

I'm surprised noone has asked if you're talking Dynasty or Redraft yet.Are you buying, holding, or selling?
Doesn't matter that much to me with him.I'm surprised noone has asked if you're talking Dynasty or Redraft yet.Are you buying, holding, or selling?
Gonna have to call you on that one.Turner and Forte are fully at their upside right now. There's little to no room for their numbers to improve (but lots of room for them to fall). No one will give you turner and jackson or forte and jackson. I agree, but I'm thinking I'm holding in the leagues I have him and wouldn't get enough to deal him, but not buying in the leagues where I don't have him. HOLDI sold in the offseason for MJD, Cotchery and Anthony Gonzalez.Today though, I'd be buying. Unless he misses complete games, I think he'll finish top 10 this season and next.
What RBs would u swap him for?Gore?I own him in a redraft ppr and a no-penalty keeper (ie, we can keep for as long as we want).
I am on the fence. I honestly dont feel like I could get the value in trade, and I just can't see his toe heeling enough for him to return to form. I think he's a "hold" situation, simply b/c your ROI would be so low.
I'm worried we're seeing him pull a Shaun Alexander...
These are my thoughts exactly. There's a part of me that would love to trade him. But if I trade him, I have to get some sort of value in return, including a RB. Gore may be the only RB I'd trade him straight up for in my league. I like Chris Johnson's schedule down the stretch and thought about trying to pair one of my extra QB or WR for Manning or Fitz.LT/Ben for CJohnson/Manning. Or LT/Cotch for CJohnson/Fitz.What RBs would u swap him for?Gore?I own him in a redraft ppr and a no-penalty keeper (ie, we can keep for as long as we want).

BJacobs?
CJohnson?
MTurner?
Forte?
thinking of trading him with Megatron for a different RB+WR combo
Oh dude. Barber is 25 years old and a key cog in one of the top three most prolific offenses right now. Even if we knew LT's foot would be touched by the finger of God and heal completely tomorrow - you're breaking even in this deal. How often do you have a chance to swap out a top 5 RB on the late side of his peak for a top 5 RB at the mid/beginning of his peak?ive been holding for a cpl weeks now. in a dynasty league and there is an offer on the table for MBIII straight up. since its dynasty, i like getting younger. but, MBIII's playoff schedule is not easy and jones seems to be doing well. it's tough to let go of him....
This is a horrible trade for you IMO. Taking the chance that all you can get out of LT at this point is a rookie LB isn't a good move.I just dealt him for a fifth in '09. If the owner makes the bowl this year than it becomes a third. Good riddence, I'll play CJ3 or McGahee.
You guys are selling at his lowest value right now after he re-injured his toe nobody is going to give you much. He can only go up from here, and his schedule gets A LOT better.I own him in a redraft ppr and a no-penalty keeper (ie, we can keep for as long as we want).

That is a god awful trade for you.Kwai Chang Caine said:I just dealt him for a fifth in '09. If the owner makes the bowl this year than it becomes a third. Good riddence, I'll play CJ3 or McGahee.
Agree, that is a pretty terrible trade. Even with the injuries LT is the #15 rb in most formats. That is still a #1 back, and he has huge upside. McGahee is injured and losing carries to McClain, whose is a force. That is a god awful trade for you.Kwai Chang Caine said:I just dealt him for a fifth in '09. Unless a player is on IR, his value can always go lower.footballnerd said:You guys are selling at his lowest value right now after he re-injured his toe nobody is going to give you much. Atta boy! You'll be happy you did.i guess i should change my answer from above. i just sold him for MBIII in a dynasty league....
