Many fantasy owners will be faced with this decision in dynasty drafts. I happen to think it is a win/win for whatever guy you choose. There has been discussion about both guys and many people have offered up their insights into who they favor. I wanted to get a poll in play to see what way the shark pool is leaning.

I think too many people are over-thinking this because they are distracted by the "potential" and "upside" of RG3. If Cam Newton hadn't emerged so astonishingly last season, we would not be having these conversations.

I don't like the argument that RG3 has a higher ceiling than Luck. If Luck reaches his full potential he could be an Aaron Rodgers type of megastud.

Both these guys go top rookie picks, right? QBs normally fall to the last couple picks of the 1st, or early 2nd in my league. Even Newton, Bradford, and Stafford. I think these guys go top 5.

Ya. You're definitely correct... luckily Griffin didn't throw for 4293yds and 37tds last season... right?

I'm not saying the guy can't throw, never even addressed the issue. I'm also not saying that RG3 is going to be a bust. I just think Luck is the CLEAR #1 overall pick because of his steady play throughout his entire collegiate career in a pro system.RG3 played in that infamous spread offense and was essentially a 1 year wonder.

Cosell and I disagree with you.But that's part of the fun, ain't it?

I hear what you are saying but in 2008 Sam Bradford for Oklahoma threw for 4,721 with 50 tds. I still think he has a promising career, to be sure, but to think that what Newton did last season is not amazing is a stretch when a guy like Bradford has not come close so far. And to think that it is "likely" to be done again this year seems like even more of a stretch. I love RG3, but I think the point that Newton's season is distracting people from a likely reality is certainly valid.
