Eagles wide receiver Jeremy Maclin was ruled out for Week 3 at Arizona because of a troublesome hip injury, according to the Philadelphia Inquirer. Maclin did not participate in Friday's practice, the second session he missed this week as he also sat Wednesday. He was limited to individual drills in practice Thursday. Eagles coach Andy Reid said the team will "mix and match" at wide receiver with Maclin sidelined.

during those 4 games, avant caught 1, 1, 8 and 1 passes. targeted 1, 2, 14 and 2 times.

cooper, who i think was the WR4 at that time caught 0, 5, 3 and 5 passes. targeted 2, 12, 5 and 10 times.

does anyone remember why cooper jumped ahead of him and/or saw more targets?

oh ya, i agree. i only play dynasties so i tend to forget redrafts

Yeah, every time either Mac of DJax miss time, people tend to turn to Avant. I'd rather have Hank Baskett.

Analysis: "You always want to have Maclin out there, but Damaris has done a great job in practice," said Michael Vick, "understanding the scheme and what we're trying to get done, so hopefully he can step in and fill the void." Vick showed a marked preference for Brent Celek and DeSean Jackson during Johnson's 22 Week 2 snaps. Although Johnson flashed playmaking ability in August, he's a risky fantasy play.

Johnson was suspended indefinitely on August 25, 2011, following questions about his role in his girlfriend's arrest for felony embezzlement. Johnson's girlfriend, Chamon Jones, was accused of ringing up over $2800 worth of merchandise over the course of two purchases at the Tulsa Macy's she worked at, but only charging Johnson just over $13 in total.[7] Johnson was initially questioned and released, but on August 31 Johnson was also charged with felony embezzlement by the Tulsa County District Attorney's office.[8] In October 2011, Johnson pleaded guilty to the charge and received a deferred sentence.[9]

has great talent and slipped through the cracks because of this^ and a small framethe eagles have already been working him in the game. he should have 5-15 yards rushing and a few receptions. maybe more if they use him in the WR screen game.

I think if this injury keeps up his value may be at its highest right now.
