MAJOR weather on Sunday! (1 Viewer)

FBG will earn their money on updated cheatsheets this week...
With all the bad weather games, i'm a little surprised that Bulger (#21) and Holt (#14) are this low playing in a dome against the Packers.
maybe because they are playing against the Packers? thats a very good defense..GB can and likely will, put a lot of pts on the board. That, in turn, will force Bulger into more passing plays, giving GB more chances for ints, fumbles, sacks..basically, Bulger is going to get killed by that GB front 7...

:blackdot:
You are right, GB is a good defense, but they have allowed around 215 passing yards per game, and 20 passing TDs (I believe the max is 27). So they can give up pass plays. It's hard to believe that, playing in a dome, they are ranked where they are.

No big surprise but the Steelers-Jaguars game should be messy. It has been raining hard here all week and tomorrow night we're supposed to get a rain-snow-sleet mix. Supposedly it will be mainly snow on Sunday during game time (1"-2") but could be either rain or a mix.

Heinz field should be in fine shape I am sure.

Normally I would say Jax coming up to Pittsburgh in December is an advantage to Steelers but the Steelers passing game is better than Jax and Jax's weakness on D is their secondary. If the weather affects the passing game I think it hurts the Steelers more than the Jags.

Should be an interesting game with or without bad weather.
This is my exact thought process Gb. I am hoping for adverse weather.

The old adage- "Be careful what you wish for" is sure in play for me this weekend...

As both a Jet fan and FF opponent I started out rooting for wind and snow to slow down Brady & Co. The width and breadth of this storm now has a big chunk of my starting lineup in question...

Hasselbeck, Warner, Kitna

Westbrook

Portis, Gore

Edwards

Fitzgerald, Galloway

Winslow

Gostokski, Graham

Giants, Eagles

Portis will run wild against NYG on Sunday..Field Turf is MUCH better than grass in the snow/rain... ;)
Portis hasn't run wild on anyone this year, outside of one game.Signed,

A Portis owner

Update: It as been raining HARD this morning in Pittsburgh and the temp is 36. It is supposed to get colder and change to snow around noon. So look for a messy Hienz field (big surprise), but aside from that it is going to be windy with gusts up to 50 mph.Could be lots of turnovers in this one...

I really hate being in this kind of situation of making a decision. You just know that if you bench Brady he's going to still go off for 4 TDs, while if you play him he's going to go 7 for 30 for 90 yards.

Wintery windy rain sleet mix in NE.

Wendi Nix of ESPN reports that the weather at Foxborough Stadium "is an absolute mess" The tarp is still on the field less than two hours before kickoff, so players won't be getting their typical warm-up time. Snow and what The Weather Channel reports could be 35 MPH winds will will lessen the Patriots' chances of putting up more sick numbers offensively, specifically put a big hit on Tom Brady's fantasy value.
