Major Week 3 injuries (1 Viewer)

OSmith did play again after the injury. Must not have been to serious, although tey didn't use him a lot after that.Mike

Well you have 3 TDs with Shaun and 1 with Harrison.I would say you are screwed......

Horn catches TD! I guess he is OK, but the knee is an issue.
Def. But Horn plays when injured, and plays well. As long as it doesn't get as bad as last year when he was on the field purely as a decoy, he'll still put up numbers.

I'm guessing that it's because there down 0-34 and he was banged up coming into the game... Can anyone confirm this for me?

I just heard on the radio that Gordon's return is doubtful. It does not sound very pretty in MIA right now...

That does not look good for Garner. He looks like he's in alot of discomfort leaving the field. Then again I am no doctor...Where is JAA's wife?

Sportsline indicated Nate Webster (MLB for Cinc) was injured and left the field on a cart; any additional information would be appreciated. Anyone watching this game by any chance?
any further news on Nate Webster's injury?

This is from the Detroit Lions' website: Kevin Jones has an ankle sprain and was getting an MRI this afternoon. Mariucci:On the injuries in today’s game ... “It was a little difficult when we lost our backfield in the first quarter with Cory (Schlesinger) and Kevin (Jones). We were having to patch some things up. Shawn Bryson, our tailback, ended up playing fullback in this game because we don’t have Paul Smith anymore. He’s on Injured/Reserve, so we ended up going a little bit more one-back set and not as much two-back set with full back leading like Cory would do. Nevertheless, we got through the game with it. Hopefully we’ll get some of those guys back after the bye. Let me just give you the report. Kevin Jones is at the hospital right now getting an ultra sound on his ankle. It is an ankle sprain - how severe we’ll know more tomorrow. Cory Schlesinger pulled his left hamstring and he just wasn’t able to go back in the game. Hopefully that think will calm down and we’ll hopefully have him for the next game. Rod Babers broke his clavicle, his left clavicle in the second half and came out. That one might be lengthy. Jared DeVries came out with a concussion. He seems to be doing okay. James Davis aggravated that right ankle again, but went back in the game and tried to play. (It was) a tough game. They’re a good team. We have a ways to go. We knew that. We’re 2-1 going into our bye and we’ll take a deep breath

From the Houston Texans' website. Not much info on Dom other than an ankle sprain according to the game notes:"RB Domanick Davis didn't return to action during the second half, watching from the sidelines with a right ankle sprain."

whats up wit gordon???
Took a nasty open field shot from Chris Hope....I have heard no official word but IMO could be (I'M SPECULATING HERE) something like a broken arm or seperated shoulder...He got carted off for an arm/shoulder injury, and he wasn't moving it at all.

In case you missed the other thread, Garner is probably done for the season:

Charlie Garner, RB TBNews: Charlie Garner suffered a torn patellar tendon in his right knee and will likely miss the remainder of the season.Analysis: With Garner out of action, consider scooping up Michael Pittman, who is expected to assume the team's No. 1 tailback job when he returns from suspension.

Guess it's just a hospital overnight as a precaution for the bruised sternum? They didn't say.
Chris Landry said this AM that McNair was having trouble breathing due to the fact that he injured his sternum.Standard operating procedure for this type of injury, also given that McNair has had this injury before.

Haven't seen D Davis in a long time.
I think it's just suckitis. I just flipped on the Houston radio broadcast to see if they have anything to add.
Very well could be. The announcers don't seem to realize he's out.
Texans radio just said Davis was "banged up with an apparent ankle problem."
how serious is this??
They haven't mentioned it again, but he still hasn't come back.
Doesnt matter he still has suckitis and will be replaced in the lineup sooner or later.

Alexander walking it off on the sideline. Looks ok. Not examining his leg and he's walking around.J
Any updates on Shaun's injury would be appreciated. And yeah, I know it's still very early on the West Coast and it's unlikely Alexander is out of bed yet. Nice to know the Seahawks have a 'bye' week coming up and Shaun can rest up and recuperate.

I was at the game on Sunday, he did slip on one play and got up and looked a little gimpy, but ran well in the second half. When they took him out of the game they also took Hasselbeck out of the game. That was in the fourth qtr, and they were up 34 to nothing. I believe alexander is still hurting but I don't think it is serious. I listened to the post game and radio this morning and heard no mention of an alexander injury.
