I doubt that’s even the end, considering where the Avery post-conviction effort is now. There’s a pretty amazing petition before the Wisconsin Circuit Court that hasn’t been ruled on yet.I'm in... but 10 more episodes seems like a bit much at this point.
No idea what the real story is with Steven, but, there is no way Brendan is guilty of what they put him away for. If it get's an innocent kid out of jail it's all worth it.So now, Teresa's Halbach's family has to endure having wounds ripped open again, just so these filmmakers can make more money on a second documentary in their clear attempt to make a guilty man look less guilty? Shameful.
Zero interest in watching this.
They are both still guilty imho. Brendan may not have participated in the murder, but he helped clean up and destroy evidence.I thought season 2 was very interesting and worthwhile. Curious if anyone's opinion on SA/BD's guilt or right to re-trial was swayed at all by this season?
It's all horrible for the Halbach family. I'm not going to take a position of guilt or innocence but there isn't any doubt in my mind that kid's confession was coerced and they planted thoughts in his head.So now, Teresa's Halbach's family has to endure having wounds ripped open again, just so these filmmakers can make more money on a second documentary in their clear attempt to make a guilty man look less guilty? Haven't watched yet, but is there anything presented in S2 that we don't already know from the news? Regarding the appeals that have been denied, etc.?tonydead said:No idea what the real story is with Steven, but, there is no way Brendan is guilty of what they put him away for. Only 4 episodes in and that new lawyer lady looks like she might be able to get them all set free. They're just about to let Bendan go and I hope that's what really happens.
I don't know. Regarding outcomes I'd guess not, but, I haven't been keeping up with the news which probably makes it better to watch.Haven't watched yet, but is there anything presented in S2 that we don't already know from the news? Regarding the appeals that have been denied, etc.?
What facts did I miss something? Did S.A. admit to doing it?I’ll probably watch but #### this murdering SOB. I admit I got wrapped up a little in season one and empathized with him but now that I know the facts I’m not sure how this season will hold my interest.
same here - I meant to say something when I saw this, but got distracted.bucksoh said:What facts did I miss something? Did S.A. admit to doing it?I’ll probably watch but #### this murdering SOB. Watched both seasons. Seems like he didn't do it.Have you researched this case at all or just watched season 1?
I'll rephrase. Have you researched this case beyond the obviously biased television series?Watched both seasons. Seems like he didn't do it.
no. link me.I'll rephrase. Have you researched this case beyond the obviously biased television series?
Confession should be thrown out. He helped clean up, but not the murder. He should be free. Avery should rot.no. link me.
What do you think about the kid?
Cool. Now who murdered JFK?Confession should be thrown out. He helped clean up, but not the murder. He should be free. Avery should rot.

I believe you don't know all the facts of the case. You're gonna be extremely disappointed after you watch season 2. The best you can hope for is what will probably happen anyway the two innocent people will be shanked in prison before their big pay day!Did who do what in the what now?

There's another documentary coming out next year called "Convicting A Murderer" and it covers the case from the other point of view.I think it was 3 years.
Anyway, just finished the first episode. I love this show although it would be so much better if they gave the opposing perspective.
Zellner's a badass though.
I'm just gonna say you haven't watched season 2 and you don't know the facts. What facts don’t I know? There’s nothing in season 2 that hasn’t already been public.
I'm curious. What facts that were presented have you convinced of the states case? Am I missing something? I'm baffled. What facts don’t I know? There’s nothing in season 2 that hasn’t already been public.
Are you saying that something was revealed in season 2 that has not already been discussed on the internet, or even in here?I'm just gonna say you haven't watched season 2 and you don't know the facts.

that guy belongs in jail.Kratz's rebuttal to Season 2, I guess. Not very compelling for me after watching season 2. After season 1, I was 50/50 on SA's guilt. Now...5-10%. I see a re-trial in his future based on discovered and withheld evidence. Would like to see detailed arguments against his innocence as I didn't study the facts outside of the show.
I prefer him to be hung at the courthouse.that guy belongs in jail.
I keep seeing people say this, but there's apparently no new information reported in Season 2 that hasn't already been put out there. All appeals and Zellner's filings have been denied to date, despite what I felt having compelling arguments. Unless there's something else that she hasn't exposed yet (and I can't imagine why she wouldn't have), then there won't be another trial. She's already tried for that and been denied.Kratz's rebuttal to Season 2, I guess. Not very compelling for me after watching season 2. After season 1, I was 50/50 on SA's guilt. Now...5-10%.
