He is falling way lower in a lot of dynasty drafts than the other rookies. Is he really not that good or is he a steal where you can get him?

all the reports suggest he's the real deal. i think he's dropping in some drafts because (1) there was talk about converting him to safety, (2) no one is entirely sure if he's starting and (3) none of the saints cornerbacks have been especially productive.

it looks like they will keep him at CB. greer is a lock to start. porter and jenkins will jockey for the other starting position. porter was really pretty good while on the field, i thought. he got picked on a lot by opposing QBs and proved himself up to the challenge. he had deceptive speed, a willingness to get physical (a buddy of mine called him "handsie" because he deflected passes), and looked like the saints best CB when on the field.

i expect jenkins to move into the starting lineup. he'll get picked on a lot because he's a rookie. he'll get a chance to make INTs and PD's. he could have a decent number of tackles too because the defense could be on the field a lot.

:unsure:He's a corner and not currently slated to start. Still, I'd be drafting him a full tier ahead of either Von Davis or Alphonso Smith.

from everything in the offseason that i have read, he's the real deal. i also expect that he will get a chance to shine in the Gregg Williams defensive system. if the defense is gong to come after the QB then bad or hurried throws will give jenkins a chance to make a big play. he's going to be play a lot of man-to-man, i imagine.

So they now have 3 pretty good CBs - Greer, Porter, and Jenkins. Who is the odd man out? Will Porter be a starter?
i think porter will start the beginning of the year. jenkins will be the nickelback. over time, jenkins will adjust to playing in the nfl. he should push porter to #3 on the depth chart. if anybody, randall gay is the odd man out though. he was supposed to be the nickel.
