I need to throw up a new coat of paint for my wood siding on the house. Is there any particular brand, style, etc that is significantly better than others?

Any good to know's or general tips on a project like this?

Sherwin Williams. Get their highest rated exterior paint. I think its Super Paint, but I'm not sure. SW paint will be a lot better than any big box paint but it will also cost your more. I've always felt like the cost is worth it for exterior.

Pro tip: If you know a contractor, get them to buy the paint for you and save some serious coin.
