From Rotoworld...

Mario Manningham - WR - Giants Mario Manningham (concussion) has been downgraded to out for Week 3.

Manningham was listed as doubtful after missing his third straight practice Friday, and was never likely to suit up this week. Victor Cruz will start in his place opposite Hakeem Nicks, and should be in for a long afternoon against Philadelphia's elite secondary. Source: ESPN New York Sep 24 - 3:46 PM

and that was the straw that broke Nick's starting spot on my roster for week 3.

Cruz may be starting but I wouldn't be surprised to see Beckum, who should finally be starting, get more looks.

everyone and their brother on FF boards has said this for years and been wrong. You're a Giant fan. Why so Avery?

Beckum is a pass catching TE. Giants may employ a two TE set and try and exploit the Eagles LBers with Beckum. Although, up until now Beckum has done nothing to strike fear into opposing defenses. On Offense the Giants need to control the clock. I see them running a bit more than normal and try and attack the Philly def with quick short underneath routes. As a die hard Giants fan, I do see Big Blue playing from behind early in this game.

It looks like Beckum is finally ready to playMy link
Tuck had another relative pass away? Two in ten days? That guy must have such a heavy heart.Giants might get destroyed in this one. Murphy's law is all over them this time. Maybe the next time they face the Eagles it'll be a better game, but there are a zillion issues with them this week.

Eli's confidence-nother thread.

A million injuries at WR and having to pick between Michael Clayton, Brandon Stokely a week or so ago and now starting a preseason darling that disappears in games.

The Oline has not been as good as they've been in the recent past.

Osi injured again.

Pathetically, there's more and I haven't had my coffee yet to think of them.

They have to run the ball 40+ times and do it effectively. They have to hit Vick early and often.

If they can pull off both, it may not be so bad today.
