Are you referring to the fact that they passed on both Matt Ryan and Mark Sanchez the last 2 years?A loyal Ram fan here - I hope Bulger is out longer than 2 weeks. Maybe current management, by hopefully seeing some Boller or Null success, will get some clue how Bulger (and former mgmt and the genious Mike Martz) has held this team hostage since the Warner days. Berlin can go back to his namesake.
It's sort of hard to suggest they were "held hostage" when Bulger was excellent/amazing prior to two lost seasons when the entire team fell apart. He's certainly struggled the last two years, but it's hard to say that the Rams were anything but a systemwide collapse. I think most of us (except for SJ owners) saw that one coming anyway.Steven Jackson -------><------- 8MITB
I don't think a Bulger injury will cause an SJax injury.I think most of us (except for SJ owners) saw that one coming anyway.Steven Jackson -------><------- 8MITB
Sjax, 90 touches per game.
Which means he will last 5 quarters.Sjax, 90 touches per game.![]()
That's exactly what I thought. There's a Saturday Night Love skit in there somewhere, maybe Bulger and Chris Chandler have a post-retirement hunting guide business, and keep forgetting where they are.so it begins
Let's not group Sanchez with Ryan just yet.Are you referring to the fact that they passed on both Matt Ryan and Mark Sanchez the last 2 years?A loyal Ram fan here - I hope Bulger is out longer than 2 weeks. Rams fan here and actually very excited to have Bulger out and Boller in.Bulger holds onto the ball way to long and shows absolutely no leadership skills. K. Boller is a younger qb with a better arm who play swith much more enthusium. When we got Boller I was hoping he would be the starter and by luck myabe he will be.Unfortunetly he won't get a true test due to the lack of offensive weapons. At this point in their careersBoller>Bulger
I realize these injuries may make their offense worse. But drafting J Smith, getting healthy, and changing offensive philosophy were steps in the right direction. I thought that they might surprise people, but injuries may prevent that from happening.I was pretty high on Bulger at one point, but he's regressed. No doubt about it. For whatever reason(s), it happens. The Rams are my choice for worst offense in the league, & maybe the worst team, as well.
I have. I give you the Denver Broncos. Who knew they could find a nuttier head coach than Shanahan.I've never seen a team crash and burn so badly before the season even starts. Their lack of depth at key positions is appalling.
And if the previous post is indicative of the general sentiment of St. Louis Ram fan and folks down there are actually looking forward to seeing Kyle Boller under center... then all I can say is I pity the poor dumb bastards.![]()
I'll bite. What is the reason? Is it the same reason as Favre? Warner? Last time I checked this is the first season Boller is on a different team than the one that drafted him.Bottom line is both Boller and Bulger are below average in every category so I don't think this changes much of anything. STL is going to stink either way. Boller will play and stink until Bulger is healed and ready to come back and stink.Hopefully a lot of people are like Fantaholic and push Jackson's ADP down into the 2nd round.Boller is NOT the answer. There's a reason why guys like him move from city to city.
