How in the heck did his best friends know nothing of this girl if he had been seeing her for 5-6 months? He took her on trips all over the country, spent 2-3 nights a week at her apartment....if my best friend was doing that I could put 2 and 2 together to get 4. So why would they say they knew nothing of her? Trying to cover something up? And why did his roommate not IMMEDIATLY call the police...he called another friend first, then that friend called the police. Also strange was his friend saying he came in and saw Steve lying on the couch and Jenny lying on the floor....I would find that weird if someone was just sprawled out on the floor. And if he was shot 4 times, it is safe to assume he was slumped over and there was blood. That doesnt seem like a normal picture to me. Yes, it is odd that Jenny bought the gun Thursday evening. But lets just wait and see the details of the purchase. Who did she buy it from, what did she tell them when she bought it, did he know she bought it...there are several questions we need answered before everyone starts accusing Jenny. Check her and Steve's phone records....lets find out what kind of communication the two had in the days prior to their deaths. Also, where was she all night Friday? If he really just broke things off with her like all of you seem to think on this message board, why would she not just bribe him? Why would she kill him? Threaten to tell his wife and kids about the affair. But once again, how would his wife not have known something was up when he disappeared for days at a time, went on vacations witout her...hmmmm.....strange.

Little Stevie is where this thread fails imo. MITYH had us all hooked. He decided the next step was to have the possibility of his wife being impregnated by him. He should've started another thread about the health risks Lil' Steve was facing and let some FFA sleuth make the connection. But he didn't have faith in us, so he posted it in this thread instead.

Not sure how I ever missed this. The fact that it was a Venn diagram that made me look makes it all the better. That Venn diagram wasn't funny at all. Until now.

 
i spent all day reading this thread... it was a page turner to start lol. i've got to applaud the FBG's for the willingness to help manintheyellowhat out. it was pretty cool that everyone kept it mostly classy. i'll have to remember that if i ever have a situation arise such as this. was a pretty insane number of posts the first few days... (kindof anti-climactic ending for a fishing trip for all you doubter's out there eh?)

overall, i was happy it ended nicely for him.

I think it's appropriate that this thread was bumped. I thought this was THE thread that grew at a rate like no other. But the Martin-Zimmerman thread has put this one in its place, with authority.

 
This story makes me sick every time I read it. Sure, it's fun to laugh about across the innerwebs, but if it had happened to me, I cannot say what I would do. I am trying to decide whether the OP is in denial, or just about the Grand Pubah of Fisherman that the board has ever seen. I hope for the later.
