I'm just saying that 95 percent of the people in this thread are convinced that his wife did something...
Just guessing that we're not the only ones. This thread didn't start out with "Hey guys! Check out this funny story that happened when I was camping! :goodposting: ". Dude was concerned about his wife spending FIFTEEN minutes in a bathroom stall with ANOTHER DUDE. I think that might be enough to almost convince me that something pretty UnWAR took place.
I guess 15 minutes is the gold standard for sexaul experiences. And the only evidence we have that they were in the stall together was George.
MITYH: Were you otherwise with your wife during the entire evening? Was there another occasion where her boobs could have come out of her bra without her being aware of it?
Good question here. She was with us all on the volleyball court. She was with us all in the bar on the campground. She was with us all at the site after we left the bar. As I recall this, she was not near me on two occassions.First, when she went to the bathroom with the guys.

The second was later, just before she went to bed. I knew she was pretty drunk, and she headed up to the women's bathroom to take out her contacts and possibly yack. So, I walked up there to check on her. She was sitting on a chair in a bathroom stall by herself. She said she didn't puke, but wasn't feeling well. She got up, and we walked back toward the site. This is when she mentioned her boobs were out and I asked how that happened. I guess what I don't like about that is not that her boobs weren't in her bra, but that fact that it was still fastened. If she were taking off her bra to get ready to go to bed, I'm guessin she would've just taken the thing off completely. That didn't make sense to me.
How is your wife continuing to act after all of this?? Is she apologetic for putting you through this, has she left you completely twisting in the wind? No matter what really happened, I'm disturbed your wife wouldn't recognize how much pain and confusion she's caused you. Obviously, if she didn't do anything (of which I have a tough time believing) it would be cruel just to blow it off as "I can't remember anything, la, la, la, laaa" and expect you to merrily move on and go about your week. I would think she has to see the obvious strain this is putting on you. Is she just ignoring that and not letting you talk about it?? The extent she doesn't want to talk about it anymore and help you get through what should be an obvious wound, makes her a)uncaring and cruel at best and b)guilty as hell at worst.
Well, I brought up very bluntly, not smoothly. Basically I said "Did you bang Steve in the bathroom while camping?" She stared at me and said "What?" I said "George said you and Steve went into the same stall, and you guys were gone by yourselves for at least 15 minutes. I'm just wondering if something happened." She said she had no memory of this. So, I walked her through the rest of the night. Do you remeber this? Yes. This? Yes. Well, your disappearing act happened right between those things. She said she didn't think Steve would do this. She sat quietly for a while, then walked back to our room and sat back there folding clothes. She came out a while later craying saying she thought hard about the night and doesn't remember this at all. She certainly seemed upset that people (others) might get a bad impression of her, especially the dude's wife. The wives in this case have gotten pretty close over the last year or so. She repeated several times that she doesn't remember anything and hopes she didn't do anything stupid.
that's a yes

she already did something stupid. She disappeared with a married man, while she was married, for 15 minutes and while sharing a bathroom stall. You know what happened. You don't need a roadmap. Your wife knows what she did, she just won't admit it. Move on. She'll thank you quietly for letting it go, she feels guilty. I would definitely tap some chick on the side at least once though, just for your own mental health. You owe it to yourself, your wife cheated on you and you might as well turn it into a positive.

Also, we are all assuming that Steve wanted to hit yellow's wife. It sounds like he already could of or did before. So would Steve even be interested in banging her?
I can without a doubt verify that she was a virgin before I arrived. Now, that doesn't mean she didn't fool around with anyone before I was on the scene, or even while I was on the scene, but she never had the secks before me.As for would he be interested? Hard to say. His wife is really hot, so he's got that going for him. He is alway a bit flirty with my wife, but I never saw anything out of line. Without knowing his history, I could see how someone would think he wouldn't do it. He puts on a good front.

My wife actually said "I don't believe Steve would do something like that".
What did she say this in response to? What were you saying? Have you contacted the 3rd guy yet? Have you told her how upset you are over this. Maybe you should ask her to log on and let us ask a few questions. We'll get to the bottom of this.

seriously, you may never get to the bottom of this. However, the lesson to be learned is drinking behavior caused you both a problem. Live with it. Learn from it. I would imagine you guys might not want to go camping and get ####faced again, at the very least. It only takes a few of these types of episodes to ruin a marriage and a life.
Drinking isn't the main reason this took place. My wife and our friends like to drink and party and nothing like this has taken place. It's like gun control...don't blame the gun...blame the person that fired the gun. Steve is a snake and MITYH's wife has stated she had a crush on Steve in the past. Steve saw an opportunity and they both took advantage of it.
I don't know why people keep thinking this. The wife jumped up and followed Steve to the outhouse.

The wife jumped in the stall with Steve.

Steve may have gone along with this, but its clear that he a) is not the initiator, and b) did not take advantage of her, if anything, I suspect the other way around is true.

Man she's a fast thinker. Playing dumb. Going right to the too drunk to remember card. This girl has game and sounds like she been in this situation before.
 I guess you've never been drunk before.

You guys are torturing MITYH.
Wrong - he is already tortured. Or did you miss the part where he said he can't sleep because of this?
I think you missed the part where I said I didn't read all of this.
Well, it was in the original post, which I thought you said you did read. I guess you did miss that part.
I guess I did. I'll be sure and read more carefully next time.
Be sure that you do.

So she remembered things before and after the bathroom stall session? I don't know about the rest of the planet, but the few times that I have blacked out, it's from a certain point on - not intermitent blackouts throughout the night, some of which conveniently kick in when I was seen alone in a bathroom stall with a former college crush of mine.

And the second bold part is just wow. She can't/won't even deny fooling around with Steve.

If you really are still not sure and haven't done anything, I'm starting to think this is the best fishing trip of the year.

Man she's a fast thinker. Playing dumb. Going right to the too drunk to remember card. This girl has game and sounds like she been in this situation before.
 I guess you've never been drunk before.
I have passed out on a girl while banging her but I still remember banging her.

seriously, you may never get to the bottom of this.

 And Steve didn't unleash the funbags. Wifey was showing them to him, hence not unhooked.
We don't know that. Steve could have easily manuevered those badboys out of the bra without unhooking it.

I'm just saying that 95 percent of the people in this thread are convinced that his wife did something...
Just guessing that we're not the only ones. This thread didn't start out with "Hey guys! Check out this funny story that happened when I was camping! ".

Time to call Steve's WIFE.
Is THIS an option ??? She would be the only one surely on your side. She can interrogate Steve and you can sort things out with your wife.

Ugh, just going by what you are telling me, that makes me angry that her big concern was what others would think of her and her good reputation and not how you are doing and what you would be going through. I mean obviously, by the way you asked her, she would have to get the picture of how this would be tearing you up. "I hope I didn't do anything stupid so that Steve's wife is upset with me" doesn't cut it. That's straight bull####.Sorry, I really am not trying to twist any knife, it just seems that her priority, if she was innocent or truly not remembering anything, would be to make things right with you. I feel for you and literally feel that dull shot in the gut just thinking about this.

1. Third guy - phone or in person2. Wife RE: concern for her well-being ("It sure sounds like something happened in that bathroom, and knowing Steve's reputation, I think you'd be wise to get tested. Should we consider contacting the authorities?"). Maybe it's harsh. Maybe it's an over-reaction, but HER reaction will tell a lot - and it's as the concerned husband, not the jealous husband.3. George again - phone or in person4. Steve, with an understanding that you're not asking him what happened - you're confronting him about something you know happened. If you have doubts about whether he'd #### your wife in the bathroom, you aren't going to miss him as a friend anyway.
I like this course of action the best. Don't assume anything happened when bringing this topic up to the people in question. Tell yourself "it" did happen and go from there when confronting each person about it. If stories of how Steve cheated on his girlfriend/now wife in college come out... so what. Be the concerned husband when talking to the wife... be the jealous   friend when it comes to talking with the friends.

she already did something stupid.
Do you really think this way or are you just being funny? I can't tell.
I'm 100% positive Steve and the guys wife did something. But I've been married 13 years with 3 kids, I wouldn't let something like this ruin my marriage with my wife. I love my wife to death, and pledge to support her through good and bad, including stuff like this. Assuming MWTYH feels this way, instead of ruining his marriage and his kids childhoods, he ought to let it go. She owes him. If the opportunity arose, take it. I was just in Vegas and had a girl I could have nailed while I was down there, she was smoking hot, I laughed it off and moved on. Now, if I knew my wife had cheated on me, I would have taken that girl to my room and shagged the hell out of her. And that would be the end of it in my mind. Even.

Wow.Good for you for finally doing something and being very honest with her with your thought process on this entire thing.

But whether or not you believe her response is up to you.

Because it leaves ZERO chance you will ever find out exactly what happened, if anything.

Short of Steve coming clean, his story is the only one that will ever hold, because Mrs. MITYH says she can't remember anything.

She's covering for the boyfriend already. Man this is bad.
and note how she didn't say anything about if she would do something like that.this is a little dude I like to call handwriting

 And Steve didn't unleash the funbags. Wifey was showing them to him, hence not unhooked.
We don't know that. Steve could have easily manuevered those badboys out of the bra without unhooking it.
This may be but you have to consider that she's been wanting to show those badboys to Steve for a while now.

Maybe when you walked in on her during her 2nd trip to the bathroom, she had pulled her boobs out to check them for hickies or marks. You caught her with the boobs out of the bra, and she had to come up with something. I'm not making a joke here.

I'm just saying that 95 percent of the people in this thread are convinced that his wife did something...
Just guessing that we're not the only ones. This thread didn't start out with "Hey guys! Check out this funny story that happened when I was camping! ".

Or it could suggest that she knows nothing really did happen and simply assumes her husband believes her so that's not a concern for her which needs to be addressed by her initial reaction. Therefore, her main concern is the well-being of the others that and the hope that Steve's wife would assume the same. She sees the situation as one which could potentially look bad, not one which was bad, which could ruin friendships - not her marriage (assuming she values marriage over friendship which any sane person would).

Was she crying in the bathroom alone? Like she was upset about something?
Same question occurred to me.....how was her demeanor in the bathroom? Thinking back, did she seem "sick" or "upset" or what?Side note - in my experience, if I am totally wasted to the point that I am "blacking out" and forgetting significant gaps in time, I can't normally hold in the vomit until the next morning. If your wife was as drunk as she and you say she was, it seems odd that she went to the bathroom later b/c she felt sick but didn't actually throw up, then went to bed, then woke up in the morning and threw up. I was guessing sick. Hard to say though. When I came in, she was sitting on a chair in a bathroom stall in the women's room. She was holding her contact case in her hands, and was not puking. Wow.

Good for you for finally doing something and being very honest with her with your thought process on this entire thing.

But whether or not you believe her response is up to you.

Because it leaves ZERO chance you will ever find out exactly what happened, if anything.

Short of Steve coming clean, his story is the only one that will ever hold, because Mrs. MITYH says she can't remember anything.
I don't think he's done anything. I think this is the play-by-play of the conversation he had with this wife the first time he brought it up with her before he posted the originally post.Best I can tell, he's done nothing but email George once since posting this morning.

she already did something stupid.
Even.
Ok was just curious. Not to get on a high horse here, but if I KNEW (as in admission or other evidence to my satisfaction) I'd take one of 2 courses: marriage over or full forgiveness. I guess I just can't understand the payback thing. To each their own though.

I'd call Steve. If he values you as a friend, or if he values your marriage (or his own) he'll say something like, "dude, nothing happened. She showed me her cans and we had a laugh. I'm sorry" and you can be mad and she can be embarrassed, but that's about it.

Jesus Christ you guys are scaring the hell out of this poor guy.
In before Woz finds a way to relate this story back to his hot-ex.
I dunno, I guess I just know what it feels like to be accused of cheating, understand that there is some reasons for other to have drawn that conclusion, but honestly hadn't done it but had nobody believe me. So, from that experience I can sympathize with the wife and on the chance she did nothing I don't want to see her husband crucify her yet before he knows for sure.

I'd call Steve. If he values you as a friend, or if he values your marriage (or his own) he'll say something like, "dude, nothing happened. She showed me her cans and we had a laugh.
I have a feeling that once Steve saw the funbags he went into motorboat mode.

Very unlikely to me the wife's boobs popped out earlier in the day and she didn't correct it and/or you didn't notice.

I also doubt that they plopped out when she was hurling. You didn't say if she had another drink after she returned from the restroom -- did she? If so it is unlikely that she was throwing up in the bathroom at that time.

The other thing that would really bother me is that George left the restroom knowing your wife and Steve were in the same stall. If it was a normal bathroom break they would have all come back together. Most likely George finished peeing, realized Steve and your wife were "engaged" and knew they were going to be a while, and then headed back to camp by himself.

I put the odds at: 60% chance light kissing/fondling, 15% chance wife got a protein shake, 15% chance the full deal went down, 10% chance nothing happened.

Even.
Ok was just curious. Not to get on a high horse here, but if I KNEW (as in admission or other evidence to my satisfaction) I'd take one of 2 courses: marriage over or full forgiveness. I guess I just can't understand the payback thing. To each their own though.
I'd forgive in exchange for hummers on demand.

How to handle it...I haven't a clue.

Steve isn't the main one to blame, although he's an ### for doing it and has no excuse. But your wife is supposed to stay committed to you (drunk or not). It's not Steve's job to keep her committed to you.

The question is, why did she feel the need to go to the bathroom the same time as him? She seems to have been the initiator. That would depress me.

My wife knows my rules....she cheats and I find out about it, I'm gone. I don't care if it ruins the kids, I don't care if it makes us broke, I don't care if everyone's life falls apart. It's a huge lack of respect for your spouse to do something sexual with someone else (unless said spouse is into the menage and agrees  )
