Mark Ingram (2 Viewers)

I am not sure I agree with the notion that this game is set up for Ingram to succeed. This could also be a pass fest with each QB putting it up 40 times.

In an interview on CBS Sports Radio Saturday, Saints sideline reporter Kristian Garic indicated that injuries to running backs Pierre Thomas and Khiry Robinson could potentially mean "18 to 22" touches forMark Ingram Sunday night against the Packers, per CBS Senior Fantasy Writer Dave Richard.

The Packers rank 31st against the run, allowing 147.9 yards per game on the ground this season. Ingram has rushed for 159 yards and three touchdowns on 34 carries, averaging 4.7 yards per attempt.

any more factors line up and a singularity may be created on the field

I've got Cadet and Ingram... almost benched Roddy at one flex to stack them and ensure I'd get the NO backfield points. Now, after playing Roddy, I'm convinced I'll pick the wrong guy in this matchup (.5 PPR).

Teams are rushing the ball an average of 32 times per game vs Green Bay.

Unfortunately New Orleans only runs the ball an average of 25 times per game.

Still it is tough seeing a scenario where Ingram doesn't get at least 18 of those carries. Throw in a couple catches and...?

Its so strange reading people`s thoughts on this game...what more could youask for? Some of you act as though Ingram is splitting carries with 3 other RB`s and they are playing a top Run D ...blows my mind

I'm a little nervous after last week's performance, but have decided to get him into all of my lineups due to Bloom's sky high ranking.

i understand that ...but as a flex hes a must add seeing he will probably put up RB 2 numbers

He was and Ingram only had 29 total touches. That's low end RB #2 opportunities despite his high production. It takes two injuries to give owners hope, that's on Payton.

Yes. This argument is stupid at this point.

I agree. This is what Ingram owners have been hoping and praying for. I understand the skepticism in regards to Payton but Ingram owners won't find a better situation then this and if Ingram wants big free agent :moneybag: then he certainly will be motivated to bring a little extra something, something. It's all aligning for a positive outcome.

Then again there's many a slip 'twixt the cup and the lip.

Bump for tonight's game.

I'm bias...I'm starting Ingram in 4/7 meaningful leagues this week (standard)

31 rushing yards so far, 2:10 to go i the first quarter

10 carries for 48 yards with still five minutes to the half. WOuld be nice to see a catch or two but hard to complain at this point.

Rushing and receiving yards all count the same for me.

He did have a target, hopefully they sprinkle in at least a couple targets a game to avoid completely tipping their hand.

I thought they should have come out throwing and then fed the beast. Green Bay came into the game knowing they had to stop the run. Instead NO ran a bunch right away and although Ingram has been very good Green Bay had the defense keyed to stop him. They did it backwards.

Ingram, at 10 carries for 48 yards, is averaging a very healthy 4.8 yards per carry. I con't think it's fair to say that NO did it backwards by opening with a lot of Ingram rushes. It's working.

Cadet out scoring Ingram at half as I suspected. If Ingram doesn't get in the end zone that will continue.
Depends on scoring.

I am starting both in one league. Right now Ingram has 4.80 and Cadet has 4.00.

After all, Ingram has more yards than Cadet.

And both have healthy stats for a half of football.

The playcalling has been lousy all night.
