you couldn't be more wrong. He needs opportunity. I love the PT Cruiser, but Ingram needs 20 touches.Sell High!
Exactly and he's not going to get consistent opportunity in NO. Maybe if he leaves.......you couldn't be more wrong. He needs opportunity. I love the PT Cruiser, but Ingram needs 20 touches.Sell High!
and seriously what could you expect in return? Most people are leery of the NO RB situation(comity)you couldn't be more wrong. He needs opportunity. I love the PT Cruiser, but Ingram needs 20 touches.Sell High!
Ingram has just gone off two games in a row. He could easily disappear for the next 6. Shop him and see what people offer......and seriously what could you expect in return? SeveralWonder how many more losses it's going to take before Payton starts changing the game plan a little?
All of them.Wonder how many more losses it's going to take before Payton starts changing the game plan a little?

Agreed. wtf goes through Payton's mind when he takes out an elite high draft pick guy averaging 7 ypc to put in a 3rd string undrafted Rb?Still they are on pace for 424 rushing attempts. The only real issue for Ingram is the perplexing insistence on using Khiry Robinson so much while Ingram has the hot hand. I can see it if/when Ingram struggles but when he is positively ripping defenses to shreds you need to keep feeding him the ball.
Bill Parcels told him that Khiry reminds him of Curtis Martin. Payton worships Parcels.Agreed. wtf goes through Payton's mind when he takes out an elite high draft pick guy averaging 7 ypc to put in a 3rd string undrafted Rb? It makes no sense. You guys spent a 1st rounder in this guy and he's starting to pay off finally. He's in a contract year and he might not be a saint next year. Ride him.Still they are on pace for 424 rushing attempts. The only real issue for Ingram is the perplexing insistence on using Khiry Robinson so much while Ingram has the hot hand. if he's as good as you think, why are you trying to trade him?I still can't get anything for this guy... It's really making me mad since I'm the one whose ride or died with him since I drafted him at 1.03 and the best offer I'm STILL getting is a 3rd round pick... OPEN YOUR EYES PEOPLE.
trade someone else if you believe him so muchI still can't get anything for this guy... It's really making me mad since I'm the one whose ride or died with him since I drafted him at 1.03 and the best offer I'm STILL getting is a 3rd round pick... OPEN YOUR EYES PEOPLE.
So keep him for yourselfI still can't get anything for this guy... It's really making me mad since I'm the one whose ride or died with him since I drafted him at 1.03 and the best offer I'm STILL getting is a 3rd round pick... OPEN YOUR EYES PEOPLE.
I'll have to consider this as well...Starting this dude over Lacy next week.
Coaches may be smart but they often out think themselves and have big egos. This seems to be the case in NO right now. They could be 2-0 if they stick to the run a bit more. As it stands, they are 0-2.I kno these guys are NFL coaches and they are smarter than us, but damn how long before Payten realizes he can rely on his running game. Honestly this guy is running better thany running back in the league right now why he's not getting 18-20 carries is insane! Maybe they kno he can't handle it but what they are doing now is not working!! He's gotta be averaging 5yds a carry imagine if they let him get a rhythm!
i thought the first one was a typo.....I kno these guys are NFL coaches and they are smarter than us, but damn how long before Payten realizes he can rely on his running game. Honestly this guy is running better than any running back in the league right now why he's not getting 18-20 carries is insane! Maybe they kno he can't handle it but what they are doing now is not working!! He's gotta be averaging 5yds a carry imagine if they let him get a rhythm!
Nothing like starting 0-2 to make a coach re-evaluate game plan.I kno these guys are NFL coaches and they are smarter than us, but damn how long before Payten realizes he can rely on his running game. More of a cry for why am I still getting crappy offers. He performs, yet his value never seems to go up with his performance. I'll happily hold.if he's as good as you think, why are you trying to trade him?I still can't get anything for this guy... Maybe it's due to the fact that Ingram is in his "contract year", so the team figures if they keep his stats down he'll be due less $ on his new deal.Coaches may be smart but they often out think themselves and have big egos. He's an unrestricted free agent after this year- why would he even think about re-signing with NO, especially if they were purposely under-utilizing him to keep his value down?thecardiackid said:Maybe it's due to the fact that Ingram is in his "contract year", so the team figures if they keep his stats down he'll be due less $ on his new deal.jurb26 said:Coaches may be smart but they often out think themselves and have big egos. TG he's ripping it up as he's my RB1 in my 14 team league, drafted in the 8th round. Weird year for RBs thus far w/ all the suspensions and injuries. If he can average 80ish and a TD here on out, I'll be happy.
I got him in dynasty last year literally for free. I negotiated a 2-for-1 trade (I gave two and got one back, Ingram wasn't involved), and then told the other guy to offer the trade and please include whoever he was going to cut just to make the sides even. I was pleasantly surprised to see Mark Ingram sitting on his side of the deal when it came down. People are impatient.msudaisy26 said:I was offered a kicker for him, seriously someone try to top that
+1 hold for now especially in a keeper league. If he ends up on a team where he is the #1 RB that gets 15-20 carries a game, like he could be a top 10 back.Milkman said:Still incredibly hard to start him next week. No reason to trade him for nothing though. He's likely gone after this year.
You obviously don't know Payton.rickyg said:Nothing like starting 0-2 to make a coach re-evaluate game plan.hotboyz said:I kno these guys are NFL coaches and they are smarter than us, but damn how long before Payten realizes he can rely on his running game. I own those guys in 3 leagues each.I offered Ingram up for Torrey Smith and was snap rejected. Not sure if it's right or wrong but nobody has any faith in this situation.
