If this has already been done please merge. Went to the Marlins-Cubs today, will be going to all day games in the middle of the week this season, more folks should take time off and enjoy this.
-We parked across from the stadium at some folks apartment complex, $20 no blocking, would have been $15-$25 anywhere, will look into public transportation but the parking was a little stressful, had to keep going by lots for folks with passes.
-Honestly, this stadium is very nice but it still has a lot of meh in it and I will go over that with you. 1st of all if you see one concession when you walk in the door you pretty much have seen them all. The food is OK, I would like to see even more selections than "FanFeast" every other section. It's way better than JRS but it still is just OK IMHO. The more time I frequent the more I hope to hear about more stuff. I was kinda shocked walking in the lower bowl that there wasn't much in the way of something like a cigar bar. The Clevelander sits in Left Center but who wants to sit in the outfield? I hate all those seats.
-I bought a hot dog and I knew there were problems when I handed over the $7 and then found out I was waiting behind 5 others and the runner went for buns...STALE!!! I tried to return it, clerk said no refunds...went to a guy with a suit jacket and handed him the hot dog to give to his boss...he was very nice and rectified the situation quickly. Hot dog was replaced, got 2 drink cards for our troubles.
-Tropicana Field is better in many ways, there I said it and it's true. Trop has more nostalgia, a fantastic little museum, escalators throughout...DO NOT buy 300 level tickets and walk up 5 ramps to get there...I'm telling you you're gonna hate that.
Will be going as often as time and money permit, sat in section 305, scooted over to 306, perfect view of the skyline, right where the infield meets the outfield, tix only cost me about $25 for the pair on Craigslist from a season fix holder. Miami/Ft Laud/WPB folks, go go go!!!
