Maroney Practices Friday (1 Viewer)

Laurence Maroney-RB-Patriots Sep. 19 - 12:51 pm et

Laurence Maroney (shoulder) returned to Patriots practice Friday. LaMont Jordan (foot) remained sidelined.

Maroney is still a poor bet to face Miami, and even if he's active Sunday we wouldn't use him. Maroney missed Wednesday and Thursday's contact practices, and the Pats were in shorts and shells for Friday's light work. It's possible Maroney will be downgraded to out on Saturday. Don't be counting on him.

As I mentioned in the Sammy Morris thread, I have it on good authority that Jordan and Maroney are very unlikely to play on Sunday.

What's he practicing, sitting on the bench? Whether he's just not hard-nosed enough or Belichick just hates him, what a disappointment. He's too unpredictable to play, and too good to just cut outright and then watch him go off for somebody else

Pillow talk? Are you Hoodie's new main squeeze, Dave?
Maybe I should keep my information to myself from now on.
trust me, david, i for one truly value your insights/knowledge on anything patriots. on many occassions, in fact on every occassion, you were dead right and helped steered me correctly in my decisions. i've picked up sammy morris and intend on starting him this weekend thinking the BB will still maintain a relatively conservative approach with cassel to not lose games. here's to morris getting 100+ and a touch. to DY

I think he lacks some drive or heart or somesuch. I think Maroney has completely missed that extra effort when a play is all but done that Dillon, Morris, and Faulk did(do). Next time he plays, watch the very very end of plays with Faulk or Morris and then plays with Maroney.

I guess you were sleeping last year when David posted insightful information. David, I appreciate all the information in your posts. You don't have to do it but I, and many others, are glad that you do. You, my friend, should be commended.

I love how oversensitive the "sharks" are today. Lighten up, people!

Not oversensitive at all, we just have DY's back. David Yudkin is one of the reasons I rely on this forum...

absolutely.

although, as w/everything, it depends on your league.

if it's 8 guys w/a 3 player bench, I'd probably lean against.
