This thread is the reason we restarted our league 6 years ago with new rules including that spouses/gf/bf cannot join league. Seriously who wants to deal with this nonsense. If this trade went down in ANY league there would be people mad and suspiciousness abound.

I told him it looks like a wife/husband making another play at the cash.

Spiller/DWill are a wash as both are in RBBC, and AJ>>>>>Garcon

I really don't see the benefit to Wife......other than helping her husband out.

Spiller: 23 touches 120 yrds 1 TD

Williams: 32 touches 135 yrds 1TD

Until either Jackson or Stewart get injured, they are both practically useless for FF

Dude, this lunacy if FAR worse than this trade. Those #s include a missed half from Spiller due to injury, a game with very few touches due to that same injury, and a game vs the ####in 49ers when they lost 45-3. Williams last 3 games include 2 games when he got all the carries and a game vs New Orleans. Go offer that trade to anyone, see how quickly you get laughed at.

DWill has virtually zero value right now. Take him out of the equation & how's it look then?

Agreed. As a DWill owner in 1 league, I would be giddy if the CJ Spiller owner thought they were washes. Not all RBBCs are the same.

I can't even give DWill away. I just did a trade where I offered Sanchez, Manningham and Dwill for Gabbert, A Roberts and Alshon Jeffrey. The owner countered with Sanchez and Manningham for Gabbert, Roberts and Jeffrey.

So the commish throws out an absolutely crap offer, gets turned down, and this is somehow proof of... what exactly?

He threw out the offer to find out how serious the original was.........FTW: our league requires position for position trade(ie: me must always have 5RB/5WR)
