Marshawn Lynch (1 Viewer)

why are teams reluctant this year to give accurate injury info...seems like a big secret. Diagnosing an injury isn't hard, what type of sprain is it? possibly missing multiple games? is he out, say so..frustrating
Because the NFL has made the decision that accurate injury information really doesn't matter. Coaches know that they can game the system or outright lie without any penalty. Teams playing by the rules are only putting themselves at a disadvantage by giving their opponent more information than their opponent is giving them.

Why are you having sucjh a hard time with this? Coach **** Jauron said he was "not optimistic" Lynch would play vs. the Patriots. Jauron said Lynch's injury is more significant than an "average" ankle sprain, and he could be out for multiple weeks.

He is not playing this week, he could be out for a couple of weeks and based on this comment "injury is more significant than an "average" ankle sprain" I would be worried about therest of the season as well.

Considering his replacement (whomever that might be) will face the Pats, at the Jaguars and at the Redskins the next three weeks, it's not encouraging.

"Marshawn is going to be doubtful," said Jauron. "We'll see where it goes tomorrow."

Veteran running back Anthony Thomas is expected to carry most of the load for Buffalo Sunday night should Lynch be out. In a game of this magnitude against the undefeated Patriots, Jauron is likely to rely on experience, although rookie Dwayne Wright and first-year back Fred Jackson should be mixed in through the course of the game.

"Anthony (Thomas), Dwayne (Wright) or Fred (Jackson) are going to have to step up and make some plays as well," said J.P. Losman. "We'll have some things to cater towards what those guys do best as well which will help us out. Right now our offensive line is comfortable with Anthony and those guys and we need to keep it rolling."

With New England's wide array of blitz packages, Thomas is also expected to be on the field in all third down situations if Lynch is a no go.

I know its an ankle sprain, thanks though. I've read Lynch is out, not out but questionable, could be out multiple weeks or maybe play although the coach isnt optimistic. It gets old, There is nothing i'm having a hard time with, just frustrating when coaches arent forthcoming with injuries...especially if it is infact a injury where he'll miss multiple weeks, this was my point not the useless garbage that has been read over and over again...
