I know most in here will say that these guys have played many if any games yet, But I think one of these two guys are in line for a starting job.
M. Cassel has just not had any luck as to what team he is on. Went to USC and played behind 2 heisman QBs. I'm sure he was thinking what am I gonna do when I graduate hmm. Then he gets a phone call that says hey, I got good news and I got bad news. Good news you got drafted in the 6th round!!! Bad news you got draft by the Patriots. WOOOOW. This year his preseason has been sort of ho hum but the First 2 years have been very good. Although he has never thrown a pass that counts I think he has some good things going for him.
1. He was recruited to play at USC.
2. Backed up 2 Heisman & 1st round Qbs.
3. He is currently backing up a 3-time Champion QB is Brady.
4. He has been well coached from College & Pro. (Pete Carroll & Big Bill)
Quinn Gray seems to be ready to play but is stuck behind a 1st round Qb and a medicore (coaches favorite)backup. In the one game i saw him play he really seem like he has what it takes to be a player in this league. Looks to be a big mobile guy. He went to a small school so I guess thats a knock on him but I like what he brings to the table and I believe he should be the backup (if not the starter to Leftwich).
Anybody with any real stats or info these please fill me in. (combine numbers, scouting reports, college stats or anything like that.)
Are these guys that people should be looking to put on their roster at the end of the season?
